Yeah everything is working smoothly in your case. Usually if you can get Office 2010 activated you are set and reactivation has no issues. Some people (including myself) have gotten scenarios where something results in Office 2010 marking all KMS keygen as invalid therefore refusing to activate. Further attempts/remedies often result in notifications mode and further failure may require a reinstall. In your case you can install AutoKMS, give Windows\AutoKMS.exe and Windows\Keygen.exe (which appears when my tools need it) AV exclusions, and it will ensure, barring MS defeating the KMS activation, that you should never have to worry about the days of licensing/reactivation.
The problems you have usually relate to previous Office installations that mess up the registry. Is your OS 64 or 32 bit?? If it's 64, is Office 64 or 32 bit?? Have you installed other Office versions before this one??
batch file for inserting a key and online activation i'm tring to create a batch file for a collge deployment all the system have office 2010 but are on the trial the key we have works but it is a pain to enter it manualy oi mention to figure out a abtch line to install the key but is there a way that after it install the key it can go and activate office online weather then the user opoen wording and being told its not activate and have to do it now. as many ignor it or come down to the office anyway because they don't know to claose word and reopen it so it activates?
I tried 1.4.0.5 in a VM first with no problems at all. On my laptop it wouldn't activate at first, but later it did. Will install Windows 7 first on my desktop, and use 2.0 BETA 3 next. Thank you!!!
Yes, I had office 2007 installed, but I had uninstalled before that attempts, cleanning all registry traces with "Your Unninstaller" software. My pc is 32bits with windows xp (with wifi internet connection - I don't know if does it matter). Thanks for attention hugs!
How could you activate the retail version with EZ activate? Did you have a retail key to install Office and then used EZ activate to activate? Tony
You will a retail key only to install the Office After that when you run the Activator,it will just convert the retail installation to Volume,so that you can activate with KMS.
Yes and it is this feature that puts mini-kms down for good. EZ-Activator installs AutoKMS which runs at boot VS mini-kms running Keygen 24/7 yet office only using it once a week.
I have a question regarding the auto-kms activation method. Is it possible to install it and then uninstall, so that Office 2010 would be activated for 180 days and after 180 days install it again? Or does it need the autokms.exe and keygen.exe every day during startup? Thanks for your response!
Yes, you can uninstall it if you want to. Or you could just change how often AutoKMS runs in the task scheduler (don't forget to open it as admin)
Thanks! Does it mean that if I uninstall auto-kms, Office will enter "notification mode" after 180 days?
best way to remove traces of Office 2010 Starter @ CODYQX4 What's the best way to completely uninstall / remove traces of Office 2010 Starter edition (came with a new laptop) before installing 64bit professional from "PROFESSIONAL.RTM.VOLUME.COMBO.DVD-WZT", please.. Many thanks! Edit: is there any difference between "SELECT.EDITION.RTM.VOLUME.X64" and 64bit from "PROFESSIONAL.RTM.VOLUME.COMBO" ?
Not quite sure as its unusual (Its Click2Run). You could use revo uninstaller then search your registry and file system. Just be careful with anything you manually remove.
