Hi CODYQX4, This tool is fantabulous!!! I just clicked 'yes' and boom Office 2010 activated..No other tool or method does as simply as your tool does. Thanks you so much.BTW just a question, Can i get updates without any problem with this? or shouldnt i update my office 2010 copy? EDIT: I am referring to EZ-Activator.
I discovered a problem with EZ-Activator. If you have 64 Bit Office on 64 Bit OS, the reg keys gets redirected to wrong place due to stupid and crappy redirection of 32 bit apps (the exe is 32 bit). Temporary solution is to extract exe and run AnyKMS.cmd as admin. This redirect issue is why the Auto Restore Silent Tool does not work. I make exe's as 7zip SFX but they run everything in *32 process which redirects reg keys under Wow6432Node. I need an alternative way to make exe that won't do this (may result in x64onx64 specific which I dread doing). Anyone have an idea to fix this redirection?
Programming language? It's a 7zip SFX exe. It extracts and runs a batch, it is not any programming language. Because I don't know enough programming. I am learning C++ at a very slow pace but nowhere near able to make good and useful stuff.
i hope expert members will join hand with CODYQX4 in making the tool not only work good but also look good...keep up the spirit
Just because its not C++ man doesn't mean its a good tool.... All things start small and get bigger it doesn't mean its the dead end... Rather its just a stopping or pause in the development cycle... Which pretty much sadly effects me since I don't know C++ I have to work with cmd commands...
I installed 32 bit office on 32 bit Windows 7. Activated successfully but have one question.Do i need to run EZ Activator every 180 days or does it also create a task scheduler which takes care of this part buy running KMS emulator every 180 days so that it can appear as permanent activation? THanks
Why don't anyone who knows VB or Real Basic well, can help CODYQX4 in making a Nice GUI? Any One willing?
I had an issue with EZ-activator similar to bradavon. It ran for ten minutes or so, no confimation of completion etc. Opened and checked Office (32-bit retail home ed on win7 x64) and it hadn't activated. I then used task manager to close the application. I re-tried EZ activator and the same issue - it never completed (even after running for an hour). Could it be something to do with the edition used? It's the retail upgrade given to people that purchased 2007 (not the trial - requires a key to install). PS did not get the activation issue.
"Temporary solution is to extract .exe and run AnyKMS.cmd as admin" as quoted by CODYQX4 in the previous post. U can use 7-zip for extracting EZ-Activator
Thanks, CODYQX4. Your activator works. By the way, the "Change Product Key" doesn't seem to work. I get a "Setup Error" message when I click it.
Extract it and run bat as admin and see if it hangs anywhere. One place where it can hang is when it tries KMS activation, it will run until it activates something. Also in the pic you posted it says Contains "Microsoft Office" 10+ times instead of showing app names so registry may not have added proper. Is your office 32 bit on 32 bit OS, 64 Bit On 64 Bit OS or 32 Bit on 64 bit OS? Yeah the conversion does that for some reason, you can change the key using the commandline or with my toolkit.
