    new problem

    hi all:

i have a new problem and need your help. i installed office 2010 pro, downloaded all the various activators out there, and still cannot run the office programs. i searched online for all the solutions and followed all the suggestions yet i get the same error message. i get this message:

    error code: 0xc004f009
error description: the software licensing service reported that the grace period expired
the last 5 characters of installed product key: c88h8

    activation successful. 1 attempt(s) used

but every time i try to start an office program i get a window asking me to activate it - either online or over the telephone. i wasted all day trying to fix this! please help?!

btw, i'm assuming i'm supposed to put the activator file in the program files? which one?

    c:/program files/microsoft office/office14

    or

    c:/program files(86)/microsoft office/office 14

    ?

Try EZ-Activator, you don't have to put anything anywhere.

The EZ-Activator automatically converts it to volume :)

BETA 4 Will Have A 2003-2010 Uninstaller (Thank Microsoft).

Won't release it until other features are implemented (such as the settings file).

Hi CODYQX4. I've been reading your thread for a long time now and would like to thank you and everybody else who has contributed to this great tool. :worthy:

I personally have not used this tool to activate my Office 2010. I am using the "Shelomotuvi’s Mini-KMSreset Activator" method which uses the "KMSReset.exe" file to emulate the KMS server. This works great at activating my Office 2010 except that i cant get it to run as a task. I have to run it manually everytime i want to reset to 180 days.

I would like to use your method but would like to know if you know the difference between the "keygen.exe" file that you use and the "KMSReset.exe" that Shelomotuvi use? In an attached doc containing instructions they make this claim:-

"What makes this Activator different from WORZ Mini-KMS Activator is KMSreset.exe Activator will delete all traces after use like the KMS host name and each user will get a different KMS client machine ID so that Microsoft will not be able to block it or blacklist it."

It's similar to AutoKMS in which it runs the keygen, removes it, removes host name, etc, leaving nothing behind but the original exe.

Just to keep everyone up to date.

BETA 4 work is in progress.

I added Excel Retail to License Add (So Now I Have All Licenses).

I replaced the EXIT button in the bottom with a Settings Button. This opens up a window that lets you configure some settings (that will be stored in a ini file in the same folder).
This does nothing right now and no code exists to handle these settings (Sent Bosh BETA 4 Source so he can fix up the crappy UI work I did and add support for the settings file so I can implement it.)

On the main tab I added a Office 2003-2010 uninstaller (I got vbs files from the MS Fixits, and I run them and have more control over removal process).

One thing these settings will do is allow EZ-Activator to try some of the fixes I suggest automatically. I have to thnk about the repair office as I may just run a AutoHotKey script to accept license at office seup repair (unless I can find a way to do so automatically). If you let office setup repair one app, license add fixes subsequent apps

So in theory I figure out what the office setup does (I'd bet it runs msi's), do it, then add licenses for other apps after that.

Barring any bugs in BETA 4 this may be the last BETA release, any new features can surface in a point release (and other than a channel switcher like Stannieman's (with support for more han Pro Plus, visio, and project) I can't think of any other feature to add at this point).

No ETA on BETA 4 as I don't know when it will be ready, Bosh and I are busy but work continues.

CODYQX4 I really like your work good job! In your next release don't forget to fix the packing way for keygen.exe this way less issues are present with regards to security software ;)
Thanks and keep up the good work

You mean use unpacked (larger Keygen)?

I checked and it still causes a lot of FPs. As long as we use the keygen, AVs will complain. It would be nice to have the code for t and try to make it less suspicious but we are at the mercy of the keygen and all its faults.

Norton, MSE (As its Microsoft overhyping the keygen giving a higher threat rating than any other AV) and AVG seem to cause most problems (based upon reports), but a norton exclusion for keygen solves everything (I heard AVG can get a bit more aggressive and still block it from running properly).

If we use a larger keygen are there any disadvantages? else can we modify the header so it bypasses antiviral detection?

    Not really.

Original ZWT Keygen was packed to reduce size and make it difficult to reverse engineer. The use of a custom packer can on its own make some overly sensitive AV get paranoid.

mini-KMS is now using a unpacked version, that gets a better VT score (however all popular AV still FP it so using a unpacked keygen for support of AVs 0.000000001% of the world use is useless, and that AVs could also at any moment decide to mark Keygen as a virus). The actual code itself is suspicious (the way it opens ports, listens for connections, etc) are similar to malware, ensuring FPs no matter what.

Also, some AV detect all cracks as viruses, you can bet Microsoft using MSE is going to try and get rid of a tool that can activate Office 2010 and Win 7 (Especially that its the only office activation option crack).

So since we'll never beat the AV problem regardless of whether or not Keygen is 78KB (Packed) or 148 KB (Unpacked), why bundle the larger one for no gain?

    @ CODYQX4

I installed Office 2010 Pro Plus MSDN and activated with Retail Key. I also back-up 2 files: cache.dat & tokens.dat in case of re-formatting Windows 7 again. Now I want to make a Office CD with those two files add-in. I mean that the CD will automatically activate Off-line instead of online activation ( the retail key is now 6 times online activation ). I re-formatted and re-installed office again then replaced cache.dat & tokens.dat manually ..... it works... but ..... I like to have a CD Silent installation
    My question is:
Do you have any idea, guide or command line ( scripts) how to make a CD like this ???

    Thanks in advance.
