The Office tokens.dat are different after formating Windows 7, so the backup will only work if you restore your PC with something like Acronis, but not after formating.

Technically you could use OCT, but that's only for VL. Also, see Bosh's response, to see why it would be a bad idea to do this.

Thanks for your reply. What do you mean by " it would be a bad idea to do this " ? there's no way to make CD off-line activation (silent installation), isn't it ?

As in backing up files/reg is not fullproof and likely to fail after a reformat, causing your AutoCD to be nothing more than wasted time and requiring a reinstall in worst case scenario.

Thanks for your time. By the way, what kind of software do you use to create a .EXE file ?

    Thanks again.

I was using WinRAR to make SFX exe that ran batch files, but my current stuff is actual programs written in C# (Microsoft .NET Framework).

SFX is cool also and here is how I do it

    1. Select all files that need to be in the archived and make it read only and hidden. (Optional)

    2. Select all files, Right Click and and select Add to archive...

    3. Under General Tab, give an archive name and check the Create SFX archive option.

    4. Under Advanced Tab, click on SFX options... button

    5. Now under General Tab, select the Create in the current folder and in Run after extraction, type Office.exe

    6. Under Advanced Tab, check the Request administrative access

    7. Under Modes Tab, Check Unpack to temporary folder and in Silent Mode, select Hide all

    8. Under Update Tab, Select Overwrite all files

    9. Under Text and Icon Tab, Load SFX icon from file, select your gui_icon.ico

    Click OK and again OK.

The first step is optional, when it is extracted to the temp folder all files will be hidden.

Edit: If you send me those three file I can try to do it if you can't ;)

OK Good news on repairing office.

Normally when I have a person delete license, they have to open office just to have office setup to store licenses.

Right now I can run a repair install of a msi and it rebuild tokens.dat and registry (for the product I ran). I can then add licenses for everything else.

In this state opening office popups a settings box (once but no interaction required) but I can work with the licenses without user intervention, allowing me to automate a license delete, repair, and second EZ-Activator attempt.

I'd like to disable that setup box (automating it) but I've accomplished the necessities needed for my BETA 4 plans.

Now I got some XP issues to fix while Bosh works on settings implementation. (AutoKMS won't create task.)

    Malware found

The EZ-Activator will be detected from Avira Antivir as TR/Meredrop.A.13700.
    Can someone declare this?

    Kindly Regards

Well, I personally have avira and still has not detected the Toolkit, in fact the only reason to detect the toolkit as a virus is the same reason as if RemoveWAT or Windows Loader were detected as viruses: flagging non-official activation methods, that's it :)

It might be detected as a potential unsafe application or something like that, but that's just based on heuristics, not confirmed viruses.

Many Anti-virus softs do not detect EZ-Activator itself as virus.
In my case, Norton Internet Security 2011 detected AutoKMS.exe (C:Windows¥AutoKMS.exe.) as a potential unsafe application
and Avira Antivir detected as a virus.
I deleted AutoKMS.exe, but Office 2010 Pro Plus is kept activation.

I believe AutoKMS.exe is not virus.
    Thanks to CODYQX4.
