Hi. I have tried to install office 2010 3 times and i keep on getting an error: 0x0c00022.. or similar, which when i look it up says its a permission error to do with registry. I have W7 x64 Ultimate - HP legit version. Office VL 2010 ProPlus x64. I did have it installed with a MAK and backed up with this tool, but i cant restore backup (there are token.dat, cache.dat and OfficeSPPInfo.reg files). It was activated with a MAK i found on the net, and worked fine for a couple of months. But now when i install and use the MAK its says <not available> in the MS MAK management apt - i guess another 9,999 people found that MAK too. Anyways i reinstalled Windows because i couldnt remove the dir after i edited the install.wim file by doing an offline mount/edit. So can you please tell me the exact steps i should do. Eg: install office, run ez-activator. Or run ez-activator, install office etc.. I also have the problem of un-installing office 2010 after it has tried to validate and get the red bar on top. Office says it has un-installed.. But when i click on the EXCEL or WORD icons (they dont get removed) and they startup and try to validate again with the yellow setup dialog starting. The only way i have been able to remove is using the MicrosoftFixIt50450 program. Anyways any help/Suggestions would be great...
@Tahunasky: Ok, here are some answers The best option here is to do a clean Office install (be patient, read all of the answers) Yes, if you found that MAK on the web few months ago it will probably be blacklisted right now, or it might just have reach it's activation limit. The tokens restore only works with the same windows installation (like when using recovery software), after formating the restore is most likely to not work I'm suppousing you have a clean Windows 7 right now, am I right? 1. Use the FixIt one more time 2. Install Office again 3. Run EZ-Activator from the toolkit. It should tell you if it was correctly activated, if not, post the results from the EZ-Activator in this thread to help you
I've checked my office and it give me this: Code: LICENSE NAME: Office 14, OfficeProPlus-KMS_Client edition LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 14, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel LICENSE STATUS: ---NOTIFICATIONS--- ERROR CODE: 0xC004F056 ERROR DESCRIPTION: The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer could not be activated using the Key Management Service (KMS). Last 5 characters of installed product key: H3GVB --------------------------------------- --------------------------------------- ---Exiting----------------------------- What I have to do? Thx!!
@ozzyboy: I suggest you to first do a rearm (There's a rearm button in the "Activation Tab" of the Toolkit), and then try to activate again. If that doesn't work, let me know
I think you are probably right ! So only works if its a uninstall/reinstall on the same install of windows ? Yes, i have a clean install.. havent even installed latest drivers from HP or other software.. just want to get office working first incase i have to do a format/install of windows again. Ok.. I hope if works, is driving me crazy.. Thanks for the quick reply Bosh..
@ozzyboy: Did you try the EZ-Activator yet? I don't know what have you done to activate Office, and it's difficult to help with that little information
I didn't tried yet... Two months ago, I've installed 2010 over 2007, like an update... It works good, with no pb, but when I open a document I've got an anoying message to activate the product... Everytime I'm choosing to close that message...
Does anyone know how to get rid of this error when doing an install ? I have tried to delete the reg key, but i cant..
I installed Office again... then clicked on EZ-Activator button on your tool, i then get: Changing any Unactivated MAK Keys to KMS Keys. --------------------------------------- If You Have Starter Subscription It Will Now Use Permanently Activated Key. --------------------------------------- Converting Unactivated, Trial, Or Subscription Retail Versions of Office Into VL. (Home and Business, Home and Student, and Professional will be converted to Professional Plus because there aren't any VL versions of these suites.) (Retail Visio Standard or Professional will become VL Visio Premium.) --------------------------------------- Removing Any Unactivated Retail Keys Left Installed After Conversion To VL. --------------------------------------- Installing AutoKMS. --------------------------------------- Attempting To Activate Office 2010 KMS Products. --------------------------------------- Office 2010 was succesfully activated. I then start excel and get: A yellow Configuration Progress Dialog Box With "Configuring MS office Professional Plus 2010" and progress bar. Then another dialog box saying: MS Office cannot verify the licence for this application. A repair attempt failed or was canceled by the user. The application will now shut down. I try to rearm office and then get: Microsoft Office rearm failed! Here is a more detailed description about the error: Error: 0xc004fe00 On a computer running Microsoft Windows non-core edition, run 'slui.exe 0x2a 0xc004fe00' to display the error text. When i look up the error is says: the software licence reported the activation is required to recover from tampering of SL service trusted store... Any ideas ???
Mmm, I would go with a clean W7 Ultimate, because this could get as long as you want.. I really don't know what other things you have preciously in your computer, and that's waht causes 90% of problems. Or you can wait to someone else to answer this, as you like
It is a clean W7 Ultimate install.. I installed again after having problems today.. Only thing i have installed apart from office 2010 is MSN messenger and the FixIt program.. Is it the version of office thats the problem ? Its Professional Plus VL.. Not a retail converted..
That tool is frigging great stuff! Thanks for your efforts and for the sharing! Very much appreciated!
Your EZ-Activator worked like a charm on a Retail Pro Plus in Spanish!!. Congrats!!!. Where can I see the activation condition?. I know it's activated because It didn't ask me to activate but I would like to see an activation dialog somewhere in Office. Like the Windows 7 one on system properties. Thank you!!!
Open a office app, then file, help, it will say if activated (but not for how long). You can use toolkit function for very detailed info
I've been skimming over various office 2010 activation threads but I never really got a real answer. Does this activate automatically after the 180 day limit? Or do I have to manually reactivate office with the activator? Also, is it possible to install updates with this in place?
