i'm not interest in silent installs, i just want to have Office toolkit to pop up once office compltetd it installation so i don't need to have a secod CD to put it in my drive. batch mean using a SETUPCOMPLETE.cmd?
I notice for some strange reason, it does not list KMS products when trying activation. Give me details on your PC. Is your OS 32 or 64 bit? Is Office 32 or 64 bit? What AV are you using? Someone posted this once but I don't think it was 2.0 final (If you are using BETA try final). Also, what did you have installed before running EZ-Activator? Retail or VL?
Warning: dection Hi to all, Avira detect this program as a trojan... There is some risk? there is some risk to see some botnet, virus, trojan, or other malware on the PC?
Use the Office Customization Tool that comes with the ISO to customize your install. Mount the ISO or Insert the DVD into the drive Open Run and type <driveletter>:\Setup.exe /admin Select the product you want to customize Under Additional Content -> Add files, Add the Office Toolkit executable. Under Setup -> Add installation and run programs, Add the path to the toolkit Save the .msp file and close OCT. Dismount and open the ISO file Add the .msp file to the Updates folder and save or burn the ISO.
hi, everything install perfectly but afterward Symantec said it a virus and deleted off my c:/window. please help. anyway to prevent symantec endpoint protection not to delete. thank
Only way is to disable AV or add exclusion which defeats the point of making it automatic, which is why I don't bother adding silent switches.
i did not do any silent switch. first i install office, after it done, i run office tooltip. then click ez activate. finally activated. later my symentec pop up said virus and successfully removed.
And it did that because Activation requires the file it deleted, which all popular AV think is a virus which is totally beyond our control.
Toolkit adds it as needed so rerunning the desired tool or AutoKMS will just add it again (and delete it afterwards by default).
sorry i dont understand. does this mean i dont need to reinstll KMSEmulator.exe since it will deleted by symantec. since AutoKMS already in the c\windows, it should be ok.. correct?
Since AV deleted it, rerunning AutoKMS will just make another KMSEmulator (which if you don't add exclusion to KMSEmulator in AV it will get deleted again.).
Not really, especially since thats a corporate oriented version. Most AV have settings somewhere but I've never used SEP. I use NIS 2011.
I went into "changing setting" then "centalized Exception" then click Add file and browser to c:\windows\KMSEmulator.exe
Follow your step and i installed to other computer w/out office. after completed, office toolkits did not pop-up. This is how i did: 1. run cmd as admin 2. then i change to my driverLetter and type setup.exe /admin 3. O.C.T pop-up 4. Under "Addition Content" i click on "Add files", then on bottom right i click "Add" then i i added office toolkit 5. File Destination Path pop up and i saw File name is Office Toolkit and next i saw Destination path on user's computer and it say INSTAILLATION and i click ok 6. Under "Setup" i click "Add installation and run program" then i click "Add" at the bottom right and Add program Entry pop up 7. under Target i click on drop down arrow and select "INSTALLATION from step #5 8. Arguement i left it blank then i click okay 9. go to file and save as 10. copy the .msp to Updates folder and burn with powerIso
