hey codyqx4, thanks for this. Had trouble with an earlier pre-version 2 beta but this new one worked the first time around! Awesome work dude.
Yeah BETA 3 was a lot of fixes and everything got redone from BETA 4 to final. Still working on some things. I can't fix the AV issue but theer are some things I plan to look into. I've been a bit busy now, and I worked real hard to get that 2.0 final out in time. Post 2.0 will be focused on new features for my current vision but still some efficiency and bugs I want to try and eliminate. @People getting Access To KMSEmulator.exe denied, are you getting this on 2.0 final? It is an intermittent error, and we added some things to reduce likelihood of it. Its normally an error deleting after closing.
I can not add in exclusion as it generates at runtime. Any suggestion to get rid of this message. Here is log file AutoKMS Ran At 10/19/2010 12:16:12 AM. Successfully Checked Installed KMS Products. Professional Plus KMS Installed. Successfully Set KMS Host To 127.0.0.1 Failed To Copy Or Start KMSEmulator.exe Attempting To Activate Professional Plus. Failed To Activate 100 Times. Stopped KMSEmulator. Removed KMS Host Registry Entry.
Another thing is to edit the settings to not delete the KMSEmulator after use. I have realized that setting don't delete after use would result in less issues (As a matter of fact the Access Denied 99% of the time is upon delete, not create). Does your AV actually require the file exist? I know in NIS I can just type the path whether it exists or not. I think I should make Delete KMS Emulator after use not default. Anyone else agree? I'd still leave it there for people who want to enable it, and Toolkit/AutoKMS will create it if its not there.
This has me wondering. If I use the EZ-Activator and it installs Auto-KMS, then deletes it, will the Auto-KMS come back if I delete the main toolkit exe or will I be in RFM after the first 180 days?
AutoKMS and the KMS Emulator are two different things. The issue of deletion of KMS Emulator (This is ZWT KMS Keygen) is that AV think it is a virus. The actual setting is there for people who don't want the KMSEmulator to remain on their PC (not any harm with that existing though). AutoKMS makes its own KMS Emulator independent of toolkit, and all the AV are complaining about KMS Emulator, not AutoKMS. The gains to not deleting it after use is not spending the time to write it to disk and avoiding an occasional error that KMS Emulator does not close fast enough to delete. (Nobody with this error has confirmed to me that they are using 2.0 final though, which had code added to it to try and fix or minimize this error so I can't say much about it). Deletion after use concerns KMS Emulator only (Though there is a setting for KMS Host as well), AutoKMS does not get deleted unless you run the Toolkit Uninstall function, though if your AV gets the KMS Emulator every time (as in you have not excluded it which is necessary for AutoKMS to work), then AutoKMS activation can't succeed. Another general thing is, if you have successfully activated via KMS (which EZ-Activator attempts to fix an issue where KMS never works, which is actually the only real issue that occurs with KMS), reactivation works without a problem (may fail a few times but 10 attempts is guaranteed to work for reactivation). The only reason AutoKMS should fail is if AV is interfering or you have changed the licensing for Office somehow in a way that messed it up. AutoKMS is basically a set and forget solution once AV is eliminated, since it should work on boot every time as long as you don't mess with licensing like rearming. you can rest assured after dealing with AV that as long as you restart once in 180 days that you'll never have to worry about that 180 day count.
ok I downloaded the latest version of the toolkit. It said everything was a success and Office was activated. But I went to load Word to test it, and it asked me for a serial key. So I tried to uninstall then re-install. But realized I can only use 1 trial on a machine at a time (with the key microsoft provides for the trial) lol so now ill have to make a new account and redownload a trial version. So are there any key tips I should know before starting this process over again?
Well just for info, Symantec Corp 10.2 quarentines Autokms as well KMSG and KMSEmulator, also blocks unpacking of the toolkit. The best way to resolve so far was disable the quarentine and enable logging only.
Using the EZ-Activator of Office 2010 Toolkit 2.0 to activate Office 2010 Professional Plus VL 32 bit, Office is activated forever or not? THANKS BYE
Can you show me the EZ-Activator output? There appears to be an error in which it does not detect office in activation and says it succeeded because it is KMS failure that triggers activation (can't fail if you don't try). I need as much info as you can provide.
No, just for 180 days, but AutoKMS is installed which resets the 180 day count every boot so it never runs out.
well it turns out that I got it to work on another computer. But somehow I messed up the trial version on this computer because I had already installed a trial version and then uninstalled it. So it will not let me install again lol. But if I figure out a way to get it back on this computer, I'm pretty sure I know how to get it working.
Well let me know your results, as you have some scenario that causes issues. You said you are using a trial? This gives me a bit of insight as to why detection fails. My detection of stuff that needs activated with EZ-Activator is based upon 3 things: 1. Is it trial? 2. Is it subscription? 3. Is it activated? (No need to KMS activate something permanently activated). Its all done in a loop and I changed the loop to make code nicer but may have broken trial detection. Before you change things, could you provide me 3 things with just the trial office installed? 1. The output of "Check Activation Status" 2. The output of EZ-Activator (Which is failing) 3. The output of Activation (Not by EZ-Activator, but by activation button. This should be able to activate trial but it only tries once and does not automatically fix things. I want to see if it detects it. If you see the Trial there but not in EZ-Activator, I believe I have found the problem.)
Just want to say thanks to all of you who made this tool. It works great on my office 2010 professional plus VL OEM version 14.0.4760.1000

If All Else Fails, Try Reinstalling Office. i have uninstalled the old office and run the uninstaller option on the office toolkit. i have then rebooted and installed pro plus retail from the new office 2010 repository thread. i then run the ez activator with my av and windows firewall disabled. i have repeated this process on a couple of occasions but still get the error. any idea what the problem could be. it seems as though kms is not working. thanks for any help.
So, when I click on EZ-Activator, I install AutoKMS automatically which allows Office 2010 to be activated forever. Right? THANKS BYE
Question Does AutoKMS need to be running in the background at all times? I noticed it runs in processes and was wondering if I could kill that process...? I want to change the schedule for my task to run once a week and allow it to terminate after running for a set time (like 30 minutes). Will this prevent me from reactivating the 180 days? Thanks
What AV are you using? It does appear to be a KMS failure as the output indicates no errors until KMS. What OS and is your Office 2010 32 or 64 Bit? Also can you show me a "Check Activation Status"?
