No, Office is not similar to Windows 7, the first is an application, the seccond is an OS. And just because it's called rearm it doesn't mean they work the same way, read what CODYQX4 wrote before, there he explains how AutoRearm works and the difference between that and IR4.
Erm... CODYQX4, i just installed Norton Internet Security 2011 trial (its awesome, zero lag even faster than avast and previous Norton 2010 which lagged) but erm... It's detecting your activator as a trojan/etc/False positive.... argh... i tried all i could... "trusting" kmsemulaotr', etc... given up... So could ya help me step by step here.... no need screen shots just easy instructions like with proper steps if possible... -though screenshots would be useful.... PS: Searching around, and just noticed that I'm not the only one here.... On a side note, Avast didn't detect this as a virus/trojan/False positive.... also running INTERNET SECURITY.... which has firewall and "more" protection stuff... Thx for your help....
Akash: in my opinion, it is more dangerous to install Norton Internet Security than it is installing this Toolkit. I'm not kidding. Norton/Symantec AV has absolutely sucked the last 7 years. I already banned them when they started requiring Windows genuine status proof in their 2004 (I believe it was that year) suite, and qualitatively it has only gotten worse. Someone I know bought NIS and asked me to work on his PC to get it all configured properly and I ended up installing free COMODO IS and he's never been happier. We actually abandoned his subscription in favor of a free alternative... But you're saying the latest version has little to no lag and it's awesome... well, since I haven't tried it your words are more valid than mine atm, but judging from their track record I would not recommend it to anyone.
The past couple NIS versions have been real good. 2008 sucked massively, 2007 sucked but not as slow as 2008, and everything older was total garbage. Norton was totally redone in 2009 and became alot faster, and they have continued to improve in 2010 and 2011. But just about any popular AV causes some issues with this Keygen.
Question I have installed Visio Professional 2010 and Project 2010, I used the EZ-Activator and when I open Visio, the title bar says activation failed, I open Project, it has a normal title bar. What am I doing wrong?
Go to activation, press the Check button by Check Activation Status, and copy what comes out and paste it here.
Aarrggghh! Symantec Corp 10.2 AV's latest definitions, again are going crazy and quarenitining autokms.exe, even after exclusions settings were added, even after I disabled quarentining, even after changing the action to log only and un ticking remove threat if logged and even after telling it to exlude any *.exe! Seems like the Symentec guys will do just about enything to kill autokms and the keygen..so if I get another "Trojan.ADH" or "threat autokms.exe" popup, on reboot I think I'll be sick! Its unbelievable! I know of several apps that I have that are "excluded" but this one, wow, they really are gunning for it? Hmm, I wonder why?!?
What I find strange is that all Norton/Symantec stuff uses same definitions, but NIS does not complain about Toolkit or AutoKMS, only the Keygen.
Question Ok here it is: --------------------------------------- SKU ID: 47a5840c-8124-4a1f-a447-50168cd6833d LICENSE NAME: Office 14, OfficeProjectProMSDN-Retail LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 14, RETAIL channel LICENSE STATUS: Grace Period Last 5 characters of installed product key: FR7C3 REMAINING GRACE: 30 days (43110 minute(s) before expiring) --------------------------------------- SKU ID: 66cad568-c2dc-459d-93ec-2f3cb967ee34 LICENSE NAME: Office 14, OfficeVisioPrem-Retail LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 14, RETAIL channel LICENSE STATUS: Notifications Mode Last 5 characters of installed product key: 4X7DC REMAINING GRACE: 0 days (0 minute(s) before expiring) --------------------------------------- SKU ID: 71af7e84-93e6-4363-9b69-699e04e74071 LICENSE NAME: Office 14, OfficeProPlus-Retail LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 14, RETAIL channel LICENSE STATUS: Activated Last 5 characters of installed product key: WG8MC REMAINING GRACE: 0 days (0 minute(s) before expiring) --------------------------------------- SKU ID: 92236105-bb67-494f-94c7-7f7a607929bd LICENSE NAME: Office 14, OfficeVisioPrem-KMS_Client LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 14, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel LICENSE STATUS: Notifications Mode Last 5 characters of installed product key: WX8BJ REMAINING GRACE: 0 days (0 minute(s) before expiring) ---------------------------------------
That ProPlus Retail, is it legit? I assume Visio and Project were originally Retail. Run EZ-Activator again and post all the results. Be sure to use 2.0 Final with default settings.
Yes ProPlus is legit,Visio and Project d/l from here, my question when I run EZ-Activator, how long should it run normally?
Varies but not too long. If it does the AutoRepair that part can take awhile, and when it is getting configuration (the first thing it does) also takes a bit of time. It should not take an excessive amount of time however.
Strage Indeed.... This I can confirm.... NIS hates only the keygen, anyway how to stop this bad relationship... About exluding , I only seem to find an option to 'exclude a folder', not a specific file... Please help... me....
Well in NIS you go to the exclude settings (you want to add exclusion from AutoProtect AND scans, to two places, and they vary based on your NIS version). When I go there I see an Add button which browses, but I always paste C:\Windows\KMSEmulator.exe because I don't feel like browsing there and my tools create it and delete it as needed so its not always there.
So, I think I understand.... Hope norton won't disturb me now... EDIT: I thought that if i selected your activator to leave KMSEmulator alone, it wouldn't overwrite it on reboot, so in norton's file insight, I just 'trusted' KMSEmulator and hoped nothing would happen.... THen at re-boot the autokms would run and then overwrite KMSEmulator(which previously I trusted, when overwritten, it lossess its 'trust' from me....) Therefore, redetecting the KMSEmulator as a false positive again... the 'trusting' a file is much easier.... Disable Auto-Protect > just right click the file > Norton File Insight > Trust Now.. this works with other cracks, but not yours since you have to replace/add/delete the file during the activating process.. EDIT 2: Alright it now WORKS! But i had to remove the AutoKMS first.... then press ez-activator.... then I just when to task scheduler, crun the autokms task, the grace period reseted.... it works fine.... !!!
OK I am using Windows 7 Ultimate, Comodo firewall and NOD32 antivirus. If I do the license delete, how will that affect Office Pro Plus I purchased? The Visio and Project I d/l from here. Also when I run the EZActivator, I go into Check activation and it runs and never shows me what I pasted before.
