OK good. Go to toolkit settings for EZ-Activator and disable "Convert Unactivated Retail To KMS" ,"Uninstall Unactivated Keys", "Rearm On Failure" and "Reinstall Licenses On Failure". Then try EZ-Activator and post your results. We are hoping that it does not need to license repair (it probably will), if it does it can activate your KMS stuff and you'll have to manually reactivate your legit Retail. Hopefully activation works without that but given your circumstances it probably will do the license repair. Oh and be 100% sure no AV/Firewall is active, as something went wrong on your initial attempt. (Check Windows firewall as well).
Not working, everything is off firewall and windows firewall is off, AV is off, it's stuck on this for over 10 mins Attempting To Activate Office 2010 KMS Products. Attempting To Activate Project Professional.
Kill it, something is locking it up. Try this afterwards Goto Global Settings Tab and disable Delete KMS Keygen After Use and Delete KMS Host After Use. Then press the Activate button under the Activation tab (outside of settings). If it fails or locks up close the toolkit and run the C:\Windows\KMSEmulator.exe. Then open Visio and see if the keygen delivers a code. Close Visio then open it again and see if it activated. If it works for Visio do the same thing for Project. This activation occurs because those KMS apps are expired and manually try activating when opened (Not deleting stuff automatically let us run KMS without toolkit). Try that a few times open visio, check if it activates, close it open it again and do the same for Project. This is assuming activation is not locked up which would require doing the License Repair.
Ok did ran the kmsemulator.exe, opened Visio and Project, Project looks good, Visio still has Product activation failed in the title bar.
If Project worked then Visio will, keep trying it, and when you think its good be sure to check toolkit activation status. If that is good (180 days for Visio and Project). Install AutoKMS.
Well I rebooted my computer, checked activation status back to the start: SKU ID: 71af7e84-93e6-4363-9b69-699e04e74071 LICENSE NAME: Office 14, OfficeProPlus-Retail LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 14, RETAIL channel LICENSE STATUS: Activated Last 5 characters of installed product key: WG8MC REMAINING GRACE: 0 days (0 minute(s) before expiring) --------------------------------------- SKU ID: 92236105-bb67-494f-94c7-7f7a607929bd LICENSE NAME: Office 14, OfficeVisioPrem-KMS_Client LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 14, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel LICENSE STATUS: Notifications Mode Last 5 characters of installed product key: WX8BJ REMAINING GRACE: 0 days (0 minute(s) before expiring) --------------------------------------- SKU ID: df133ff7-bf14-4f95-afe3-7b48e7e331ef LICENSE NAME: Office 14, OfficeProjectPro-KMS_Client LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 14, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel LICENSE STATUS: Notifications Mode Last 5 characters of installed product key: VHKC6 REMAINING GRACE: 0 days (0 minute(s) before expiring)
From his description of things hanging, I doubt that would help. Plus it would just rob him of his ProPlus activation. Can you attempt activation the old way? I mean do what I said with running the KMSEmulator.exe with KMS Host set, but this time find OSPP.vbs and run cscript ospp.vbs /act. You have to open a command prompt where it is. It will likely be in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14 You would do this at the command prompt (with admin rights for the cmd, and Keygen running: cd /D C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14 cscript ospp.vbs /act Try it a few times, if this hangs something is wrong outside of the toolkit's scope (as in something is wrong with your PC or Office).
CODYQX4,do you think that the EZ-Activator not changing his ProPlus Retail to KMS have something to do with the activation problem??
No because he said he tried regualr activation and it also hangs. He didn't show ospp.vbs /act yet though. If that messes up it can't be the toolkit's fault.
might be a stupid suggestion but have u checked that your firewalls are COMPLETELY off? there may be Real Time protection or something. WHen you disable avg windows firewall will take over. And there's public profile private profile etc. Many profiles to turn off.
Hello every body, First of all, thanks for this topic and your help. Maybe my question is not new but I've didn't find any clear answer, so I post it, as: Is there any solution to get a permanent activation, without to have all 180 days to run the EZ-Activator ? Thanks for your answers.
Not yet... However once you get your AV "trained" the activation will run silent per 180 days with task or however CODY takes care of activation which I think is task at boot?
Hi, first of all I want to thank CODYQX4 and Bosh for this toolkit. I have installed Office 2010 Profession Plus on Windows 7 but I have a problem with the activation with Office 2010 Toolkit. It seams to me that it can't convert a Retail Office 2010 installation to a Volume one. When I click Ez-Activator, it seems to have worked: Code: Getting Office Configuration Information. --------------------------------------- Backing Up License Info In Case Of Failure. --------------------------------------- Changing any Unactivated MAK Keys to KMS Keys. --------------------------------------- If You Have Starter Subscription It Will Now Use Permanently Activated Key. --------------------------------------- Converting Unactivated, Trial, Or Subscription Retail Versions of Office Into VL. Converting Retail Professional Plus To VL Professional Plus. --------------------------------------- Removing Any Unactivated Retail Keys Left Installed After Conversion To VL. Removing Professional Plus Retail Key. --------------------------------------- Attempting To Activate Office 2010 KMS Products. --------------------------------------- Installing AutoKMS. --------------------------------------- Office 2010 was succesfully activated. But then if I click the Activation Status it says: Code: <No installed product keys detected> Then, when I start Word, it asks me the Product Key (which I think it shouldn't because it should be a Volume license), and when I put a Retail one that I have the Activation status changes to this: Code: --------------------------------------- SKU ID: 42cbf3f6-4d5e-49c6-991a-0d99b8429a6d LICENSE NAME: Office 14, OfficeProPlusMSDN-Retail LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 14, RETAIL channel LICENSE STATUS: Notifications Mode Last 5 characters of installed product key: BBKQ8 REMAINING GRACE: 0 days (0 minute(s) before expiring) --------------------------------------- And so obviously it is not activated. I also tried to install a Volume license but it tells me: Code: Microsoft Office License install failed! Here is a more detailed description about the error: (there is a blank line as the detailed description error) And I tried also Delete all the license information but with no success. Should I uninstall everything and install Office from a Volume installer?
OK, thanks, I'll try, but it seems weird because some months ago on another computer with the text-based version of the toolkit I managed to delete the Retail license and install the Volume license and then activate it.
