Hi Cody, Here is a pic about the Install button that re-appears after a while every time I activate Office 2010 AutoKSM: hxxp://img1.uploadscreenshot.com/images/orig/11/3140936309-orig.png Kind regards, peteriiino
If AutoKMS is not installed, its not supposed to be that way. Based on your output in the "Info COnsole" you used regular activation or Check Activation status (and not EZ-Activator) so AutoKMS is probably not installed.
Hi Cody, If I click on EZ-Activator, I get a screen as such: hxxp://img1.uploadscreenshot.com/images/orig/11/3141257549-orig.png But then if I close Office 2010 Toolkit and re-open it after a little while, I get the following screen: hxxp://img1.uploadscreenshot.com/images/orig/11/31413040490-orig.png Regards, peteriiino
Look closely that where it says activating KMS products it does not list any. This is a detected bug, and it is caused because AV interferes and screws up that part. I am working on 2.1 slowly, but this is an AV issue (again) that results because your AV/Firewall is interfering with C:\Windows\KMSemulator.exe
Well, I actually guessed so but said to myself let's make sure about it with Cody! Anyhow, I'll be awaiting the new update of Office 2010 Toolkit with great pleasure! Thank you very much indeed for your valuable assistance! peteriiino
cody have you ever been able to reliably back up and restore tokens for a retail or technet version of office? i have had very mixed results and it only ever truly worked once for me. each other time it was fine for a few days but then said i had to activate office. this is what i am so dying for so i dont tear through my technet activations. other wise i have been able to use this kms version but would rather the other way. thank you again
Which is why I went as far as to make a windows image with clean install + office in it, so I could reinstall with Office 2010 there still activated. The fact that that works tells there is something in the normal reinstall + reinstall Office 2010 that changes breaking backups, but its so hidden or something I can't find it so I can't improve the backup. Someone would have to go over the reinstall with a fine tooth comb, and things get complicated with Office because if its Office install and not OS reinstall at fault, we'd never tell as all the activation data is encrypted. I find with KMS there is no need to backup. If you use Retail/MAK/MSDN then I recommend disk imaging to ensure you can keep activation for that PC.
CODYQX4 Hello I used the beta 3 and nod32 last week continued to give alarm, but I put in the exclusion and Keygen KMService. It works wonderfully with all
quick question, forgive me if its in thread, but over 101 pages of reading >< but why does the toolkit request network access? and why does it run on windows startup, an anti-virus's pick it up (hoping for false neg) but if you let the a/v clean it, and remove it from startup office is still activated and works and such, so just wondering why it does these things
1 - It requests network access because Office is activated in a server, in this case a localhost server (The server would be KMSEmulator.exe/Keygen.exe), but it still needs access to the network. 2 - Maybe it was activated the first time and it should give you 180 days before you need activation again, so even now that it's beeing deleted by your antivirus your office is still activated, until you need activation again.
Bosh - Cody Put this somewhere on your first post so people will hopefully stop asking the redundant question of the year.
Like people would bother reading it anyway. All non virus questions are in the readme yet people ask them. I say it needs .NET 3.5 on XP and people ignore it. I just start ignoring the repetetive questions and help out otherwise because no matter what, some people expect things to be handed to them because they are too lazy to do 5 seconds of reading to get their answer. Nobody has to go through all this topic, as most info is in the readme.
I have Office 2010 Professional Plus permanently activated with a working MAK key. I installed Visio and Project 2010 separately. If I install this activator and run "Ez Activator", will it activate Visio and Project 2010 only? I don't want it touching the Professional Plus suite as it's are already activated via MAK.
okay thanks. just figured since i had been away for a while i would ask. i have legit lic's and i always format for one reason or another sonetimes just because its been a while and i hate when things get cluttered up from junk left over. but this time around i did make backups of a fresh os with a fresh office so hopefully that will solve that i just dont want to go through all my activations then not have any left
