activation 0 day reamin hey! CODYQX4 my office 2010 professional plus has come 0 days. i dont know why. if 30 day ago the activation chek shows 180 days remaing, and today the office has dissabled licence. if i try unistall the ksm service. office 2010 tool kit hangs the program, never get unistall and never get ez activator. i can do?
25 days nothing special happens. It's just a number I picked when relying on only startup. Nothing changes till it hits zero. It also means 25 days pass that I don't run restore so time gets saved by not restoring everyday.
OK, that sounds fine. You could start working on that, and if you succeed one of the most important "problems" of the toolkit wich is false positive from AVs could be solved (for now )
The 2.0.1 is using Phazor's version which has less AV issues. Though if he can make it even more AV resistant that's a good idea. I know my NIS 2011 doesn't complain at all about the new KMS Emulator but I think AVG still will. I listed this in the changelog. I find the best two ways to resolve are 1. Execute the keygen inside the toolkit process. Phazor said something about this but I didn't understand it that well or how to do it. It means we'd be executing the Keygen as a resource and not writing it to disk and the KMSEmulator process would not show up. 2. Code our own KMS stuff and use it as a library in the code. The two ways to do this are to study a KMS server and reimplement or reverse ZWT tool. Both are difficult and option 1 sounds alot easier. Doing #2 would allow for an open source version of KMSEmulator. @Bosh what do you know about the first option? Also I sent you the 2.0.1 source in PM but I've added a copy to clipboard since, and I'm brainstorming ideas on how to do the Channel Switcher patching. I have a good idea in calculating the things we need like patches to write, files to change/delete, etc and putting it in a list so we can foreach it. I need the UI stuff first as it's going to be passed to a function. Basically it will work similarly to how you setup the license add to get the right slics/reg files, excpet it will contain file/folder names. So I need the UI but once that is out of the way I think I can get the patching done easily.
Ok dude just noticed on day 25 nags and popups appear. Also doesn't the Autorearm.exe driven by Hybrid tasks run at startup and daily to check if what status and what action to take? later
I don't get popups on day 25, but it does check the rearm count and remaining days to see if it needs to restore/rearm. PS: I think only KMS has no nags as that's typically VL. MAK gets treated like retail as its really a retail key with a lot of activations. If you do a Check Activation Status, MAK shows up as retail. So when I say VL is needed to not get nags, VL=KMS key installed. If you have MAK installed it will nag just like retail.
The Activate button is meant to be a one shot non modifying simple thing. If you want multiple attempts use EZ-Activator as the attempts are only necessary for KMS and you can customize EZ-Activator's number of attempts in the settings.
how to upgrade I'm currently using version 2.0. What do I need to do to use version 2.01, just click EZ-Activator? Thanks
I just tested Autorearm and it installed fine, seemed to work fine with task and uninstalled fine also I like how the whole solution is done from the toolkit Great Job Wonder if I should put my folder in c:\windows instead of just c:\ I also noticed you left the registration backups
Thanks for the update! Does the 'EZ-activator' install as service in my computer or does it activate once only? I prefer to activate once only instead of installing as service...and Could someone explain the "-Automatically Delete KMS Keygen and Hostname are now disabled by default."? Anyway why it is that activation fails sometimes? There was one particular machine which failed even after 30 attempts, but the ReArm fixed it. Others activated at first try. Despite using the same OS
I'm convinced its impossible to make backups work on reformat. I've gone thorough driving myself insane. I'm convinced there are factors that can change each OS like generated information and other things Office can use to screw things up. I'm still trying to see if I can make office reinstall cleanly as it may lead somewhere but I'm giving up on making backups restore after a reformat and hoping someone gets lucky and figures it out as it just does not work. PS: Even if I made it work all MAKs are dead and anyone with legit retail/mak would be able to call MS anyway.
Phone activation is limited I think, but the point was that the only reason to backup license before reformat is when using online activation, and Retail keys have too few activations for them to leak and be useful so only the MAK's are worth backing up and if you have a legit MAK and needed to restore you'd call MS.
Hi guys, after having activated my Pro-Plus through EZ-Activator, I changed the 'Auto KMS.exe' scheduled task to run "Once every 179 days". Can I ask you guys a couple of things? 1. Does this mean once it rearms after 6 months, it will get back all the rearms (1+5) or just the last remaining one? In that case I'll go with 29 days instead of 179. 2. Secondly, can this be validated as genuine? Kinda like what you can do with Daz's Loader activated Win7?
Not sure OGA is working yet but in being activated you got to do it only every 180 days and with the Autorearm of toolkit it works on 30 day grace set up
Just for info. I used 2.01, activated. Rebooted. All was good. I then updated my AV (Symantec Corp 10.2)..and unfortunately it terminated the kmsemulator (quarentined it as Trojan.gen). Then I disabled the AV, ran 2.01 again, enabled AV, added the necesaries to exclusions. Rebooted. The AV terminated it again. Seems Symantec is really going after this one. I'm thinking of a way to start the AV after the activator has run but no luck so far. This AV thingy is so irritating..but Cody, I guess that means the only way forward will be to find a way to design your own autokms or somehow create a script to disable AV's when it runs. I don't know but I guess that's the fun in it all hey .
Yeah NIS had it clean for me but now nukes it. Think about the AV thing though, if we could do that, every single virus ever made would do that meaning AV=100% useless. I have wanted to make my own KMS Emulator but I lack the reversing skills to figure out how it works to make my own. However I don't know about Symantec Corp but NIS 2011 uses same definitions and mine leaves it alone if excluded.
