They killed OGA, not activation. OGA is what makes it say not genuine when you DL from MS Office Downloads.
I used the uninstall tool and it worked like a charm; however, when I installed Office again, it automatically installed the KMS Activator. How do I remove it? It doesn't work well with my AV.
I originally activated my version of Office 2010 with a MAK but I want to redo my pc. I see that the office 2010 toolkit has a back up activation settings feature. Has anyone tried this? Does this really work? Has anyone out there reinstalled Office 2010 and reactivated it successfully with the back up activation settings they saved?
Hi cody I've been working with the last guy in IORRT thread. He's done as you say to repair licence then EZ but no go. He also reinstalled office as your app suggests when all else fails but also no go. Notification blues we are having I gave him my pro plus to try but think we'll have same problem. Any suggestions Thank you for your time p.s. I also worked with him via TV and no go
Add what to my exclusion list? Has anyone had any success backing up and restoring the office 2010 activation using this toolkit?
Restore/backup work great and add whatever gets flagged by AV to exclusion list so it won't pop up as whatever
I can't. It says it's not installed, but something is because in my task scheduler, there's a file set to run called "KMS" but I didn't create it or install anything.
Thanks TimeSurfer. So have u successfully done a fresh reinstall Win7 then Office 2010 and gotten your backup/restore to work successfully? Thats what I plan on doing tonite. Would temporarily disabling the antivirus while I do the restore work just as well as adding it to the exclusion list? This is gonna be 1 1st time attempting this backup/restore thing.
if you're planning on using EZ-Activator method or the scheduled task method, then its best to add them (kmsemulator, AutoKMS) to the exclusion list because the same operation which be done on each cold boot. I've never tried the backup and restore before though
That's what I thought thanks for responding. Any idea what's wrong with the guy who pm'd you named D.Doc? I'd hate for him to have to reinstall his OS...lol
Tried to use TV but my connection died, so I gave a list of steps to try before resorting to the OS nuke (everything that can conceivably be tried that is known to help).
