That reformat + restore fails. What I found to be a disappointment yesterday (I used my need to reinstall OS + making of SP1 disc) is instead of reformatting, I simply deleted all files off C:\ and installed on it. That was not good enough and a waste of time, but there is something nobody is aware of yet that changes between OS reinstalls that makes the restore fail.
I've been able to do reinstalls and restore but it depends I guess if things changed a lot or not (I did uninstall+reinstall immediately).
So I didn't know. It was done to make sure two IORRT.bat files didn't get put into IORRT folder or something? Do you remember? So Code: DEL "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Microsoft\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\Backup.hiv" > nul if I leave it
DEL "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Microsoft\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\Backup.hiv" 2> nul This will suppress the error but show successful delete if the file exists (which 99% of the time with the 1% being a bad case anyway it won't be there). Your command didn't work but the one I post here did.
But when I read your post it said nothing of clean OS install nor token Hence confirmation was needed
Yes you're right . I didn't say anything about that as I thought it might confuse the one I was answering.. lol
uninstalled Office 2010 now cannot activate again Yes, the other day I installed Microsoft Office 2010 and activated it no problem using the EZ-Activator. However, for certain reasons I uninstalled office. I also uninstalled the AutoKMS etc.. Today I just installed Office 2010 again and tried to activate it. It would not activate this time. It said it failed 10 times. Rearming failed as well. I have no idea what to do now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Most go into licence tab and select appropriate info and then delete all wait then try EZ-activator again
