I tried kb928218. Had three entries. one entry dissapeared after I did uninstall. two others didn't and i deleted them by hand (all three had office in subject line). Rebooted computer and tried installing again but same problem.
    onopa . pl/lang/officetrialerrormsg.PNG

This time I will try to restore to the point before i installed home and business edition and try to install pro plus x64.

EDIT 6/17/10 Finally got MS Office 2010 Proffessional Pro x64 VL installed after clean win 7 install. Lessons learned: pick one version of office and stick with it.

As you see, KMS_Client license has been successfully installed. Now you just need to use a KMS host to activate your product.

If you are going to use "Microsoft.Windows.7.Professional.Edition.KMS.Activator.HAPPY.CHINESE.NEW.YEAR-ZWT", then
    run keygen.exe
    ans use the following commands:
cd "%programfiles%\microsoft office\office14" <--- change the path to your installation directory if it is different
    cscript ospp.vbs /sethst:127.0.0.1
    cscript ospp.vbs /act

    hi , i'm new here .
i just got a trial version . it's ok to install it and work with it for 60 days or it is better to try to install a rtm version an try a crack? after 60 days it is possible to transform the trial version in to a VL with some activation crack?

    thank you

    (OP)
    Confused

    letsgoawayhell

I am confused. I have a trial license installed that is good for 54 more days. I have a VLK installed good for 180 days. In Word under File/Help it shows the 54 days.

How do I get rid of the trial 54 days and use the 180 day VLK  Or does it matter.

I have followed the instructions, at least I thought I did.

I have a mini-KMS activator downloaded lfrom Microsoft.

I seem to be misunderstanding something on the Activation/Keygen part of the instructions.

Can you unconfuse (if that is possible) me or point me to what I am missing.

I also downloaded mini-KMS^_Activator^_v1.3^_Office2010^_VL^_ENG.exe and it says it is a Firefox file. Why would an exe file be a Firefox file?

    Thanks

This is the part that does not work for me. Do I need to do it? What keygen do I need? I get an error message!

    run keygen.exe
    ans use the following commands:
cd "%programfiles%\microsoft office\office14" <--- change the path to your installation directory if it is different (This is correct for me)
    cscript ospp.vbs /sethst:127.0.0.1
    cscript ospp.vbs /act

To get rid of that 60-day trial license, run the following commands in a command prompt:
cd "%programfiles%\microsoft office\office14" <--- change the path to your installation directory if it is different
cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus <-- From the output, find your partial key for 60-day trial license
    cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:<your_partial_trial_product_key>

this way you get rid of that trial license. Your KMS_Client license is in grace period, to activate it use either:
    Microsoft.Windows.7.Professional.Edition.KMS.Activator.HAPPY.CHINESE.NEW.YEAR-ZWT
    or
    mini-KMS_Activator_v1.3_Office2010_VL_ENG.exe

When I said "run keygen.exe" earlier, I was refering to the first one.

lemme know if you need more help

You gotta run command prompt with elevated privilage.
First, hit Windows+R to launch run dialogue box
and then type "cmd" in run dialogue box and hit Ctrl+Shift+Enter to run cmd in privilaged mode.

    From the image: No.
ospp.vbs would be located in programfiles x86 if it was office 32 bit on win 64.
