I'm getting this error while installing Office 2024 on Windows 10 File Not Found Stopping services "ClickToRunSvc" and "Windows Search"... Copying new ClickToRun installer files... Office_Offline_Install : Cannot bind argument to parameter 'FFNRoot' because it is an empty string. At C:\Users\trainer\Desktop\DVD_ROM\Offline_Install.ps1:52 char:24 + Office_Offline_Install $args[0] $args[1] $args[2] $args[3] $args[4] + ~~~~~~~~ + CategoryInfo : InvalidData: ) [Office_Offline_Install], ParameterBindingValidationException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : ParameterArgumentValidationErrorEmptyStringNotAllowed,Office_Offline_Install
More info, please DVD folder content, please Does it run under administration privileges? .................... FFNRoot parameter is missing, FFNRoot is channel ID, so probably failed to recognize channel ID and maybe it cause by missing \ BAD files
I'm getting the same exact error also (Win10_x64) File Not Found Stopping services "ClickToRunSvc" and "Windows Search"... Copying new ClickToRun installer files... Hey! I'm like the biggest PC noob you can probably imagine and I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've been using this tool for years now and it has always worked (yay me!) until today. The first time I launched it today it was all good until activating the stand-alone apps (I went for Office 2024, and I fear that was a mistake?). All apps failed when being activated. I closed the entire tool and tried it again. Ever since when I want to download the current build, it says "PACKAGE not exist". I'm trying to get this one (as seen as in the overview when confirming the download): Architecture: x64 (I'm on Windows 10) Office Build: 16.0.17328.20184 Language: de-DE (German My Anti-Virus is deactived during the entire process. No matter what I try, it won't work. I got the files both from the OP as well as the very last post before mine. Does anyone have any idea about this? Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance! P.S.: I don't know what information you guys need in order to have any advice, sorry about that!
office 2024 stand-alone apps will be supported soon, not available by MS, not my fault. ( i guess you meant stand-alone EQU single apps ? ) BTW Full package, with exclude. work just fine.
Ok, seems like that was the mistake and I will get an earler version for those. However, I cannot even get the download for the package started again since the first attempt (I deleted it after it didn't work in the hopes that'd fix the problem). So I'm stuck on the "D1" part from the readme.pdf.
That's the Channel-ID I'm seeing: 492350f6-3a01-4f97-b9c0-c7c6ddf67d60 (Current) But still, "PACKAGE not exist". I don't know what I'm doing wrong
wget check header command fail ... (--quiet --no-check-certificate --method=HEAD**) that why you see message like `... Not exist` etc etc. so .. my best guess ... wget fail to connect to MS server .. because of some reasons ? (A\V ? Firewall ?) maybe you can change region settings to `region=DB` (europe server) ** The HEAD method is used to ask only for information about a document, not for the document itself i must use the `head` check to prevent continue downloading non exist package language's
I turned off both my A\V and Firewall completely. The error message I'm getting this time is: Download File :: v64.cab '"E:\[foldername]\OfficeRTool\Data\Bin\aria2c.exe"' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. *** ERROR downloading: http: //officecdn.microsoft.com.edgesuite.net/SG/492350f6-3a01-4f97-b9c0-c7c6ddf67d60/Office/Data/16.0.17328.20184/v64.cab Any thoughts on that?
missing file's i don't know the the script still running without say error some file's are missing, i did put file's list check ... before script load i suggest to exclude the folder that is the solution A- Create folder, exclude it B- Download Latest version C- extract 7z archive to this folder that solve the wget error, file not found i bet 100% it's not exist
