Mondo 2016 on Dogfood Dev channel will always have latest features. But it will also have latest bugs.
MS developers use this channel for code distribution. "DogfoodDevMain"-channel contains latest development build = Latest features and (probably) higher risk of some creepy code errors. Besides BetaChannel this is the Alpha-channel
@Windows 10 User: Office(R)Tool is able to change update-/distribution-channels. Just use (U) function and select the channel you want. Be sure to update to (download) latest build in each channel. In case you selected "DogFoodDevMain" and want to go back to a regular channel: Because "DogFoodDevMain" contains early code, you should "scrub" such a Office test-installation and restart from scratch. And now back to topic: Functionality and (maybe) errors of Office(R)Tool. To get qualified help, please specify exactly what steps you take in Office(R)Tool, what system configuration and (maybe) 'special setup' you use. My 'crystal-ball' is not working right now: The more precise your infos are, the better we can help.
I was talking about changing channels in Mondo's programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) themselves in the Account tab, not in OfficeRTool. I was able to do it before in Microsoft 365. I chose the beta channel in the second step in OfficeRTool after choosing the "INSTALL OFFICE FROM ONLINE INSTALL PACKAGE" setting. I never chose the DogFooDevMain channel.
I'm f.. tired these days. this summer is killing me. don't have a plan to update the version soon - need a little rest
Is it possible to enter multiple language codes to install language packs for multiple languages? ex en-US; en-GB ?
for what menu do you ask for - download package menu? - Offline install? - online install? you must be specific Edit. the only option I think of - add another menu --> do you want to select another language ? Edit. 1- not possible via download packages [maybe .. don't promise] 2- via offline install, it detect multi language disk, and ask user: what language do you want to install. 3- maybe via online install, seems more logical to me.
Online menu where it gives a list of languages and asks for an input. It would be nice to install multiple languages at once. Then don't need to download a language accessory package.
