The version of July/18 is not working for me (Windows 10 21H2 (19044.1826)). The program is looping with the message "F U Team OS" then stops printing this message.
Do you have any file contain team*os in upper folder ? Or sub folders ? Moved it to other locations A good lesson for them, and their stupid admin tried to be nice, it didn't work out too much This is the only way prevent them using rtool Since they are ungrateful #$#_$$ and will not say more
Found what was wrong in Virus Total. It's not virus total. its the WinRAR tool the file that triggers A/V is OfficeRTool.cmd A- when the file IS not compressed, 0/69+ B- when the file is compressed using 7z, 0/69+ C- when the file is Converted to ISO, it shows HEUR ?? D- when the file is Compressed to ZIP, it shows HEUR ?? E- when the file is compressed using WinRAR, it shows HEUR ?? F- when the file is compressed using WinRAR, With PASS & Encrypt file name, 0/69+ Can someone explain this behavior? good to know that WinRAR cause all those troubles I maybe start using 7z / always use PASS ------------------- In the feature build, I will start using 7z to compress files.
I'm getting detections for the .7z archive as well - a0fedaf704aa57eea55279f9351e44ad489b8352b2c2de6209ddeb6f733df655 (can't post links, sorry) It's only the file on its own and when it's encrypted that I get no detections. The issue lies with a false positive from Bitdefender, which shares its engine with a lot of other AVs. If you can recreate this issue with a more generic script, you could submit the archive file as a false positive and explain the problem (script is clean, but when compressed it is falsely detected). For example, here's the result when just using the first 175 lines of the script - 323d6806dd1626cd50155c5baae7f967303fab3a0f4830228219dc6ba765b135 And here's the result when using the same 175 lines but with references to Office, Windows, Microsoft, OfficeRTool, MDL, and a few other things are removed - 27b38f49f75eb6033a8942a823744da1692b370bf1065539fd0a1bf67ea7e2ff
Thinking to add an auto-renew option still, in my mind, don't know how will be done yet (the metal music kills all my brain cells) Will it be copied to the system Directory? or work silently with the '-Activate' switch (from local directory?) not decided yet, but it will be done, this year I think. or the next.
Version 2022/JUL/18 is not working for me. First it would say remove special characters from the folder path (this error did not happen before). Then I moved to the root of drive with no special characters. After I agree to the disclaimer, it goes to a blank command window and nothing happens. Windows 21H2
It install latest version .. not specifically one Use offline install instead ---------------- Servicing stack updates & bug fixes Code: 1- Minor changes due to failing to start 2- Update 'update' script, replace -CMD /c call- with PS equ. Code
Sorry for the bad question, but from wich folder i have to run the Tool .. ive tried to run it from the Local Folder C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local and it says "Wrong Path".
that can end so so bad … (if you would press update by mistake) from here … examples Code: D:\Apps\OfficeRTOOL C:\USERS\???\Desktop\OfficeRTOOL
Huuhh, thas exactly what I have done, and i still get the error (You can see it at the "Install Summary" that all Options are set up properly)
my suggestions 1- Restart computer after the full scrub 2- check that your internet connection is fine 3- make sure to use the latest updated Windows system (10 / 11) this should fix your problems
