Okay, here's what I'm trying now: 1. Uninstall Office using Programs & Features 2. Run OffScrub_8.vbs as admin. (This always takes a long time. Like 20 minutes) Spoiler D:\SOFTWARE\PRODUCTIVITY\Office Scrubber\OfficeScrubber_8\bin>cscript OffScrubC2r.VBS Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.812 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. I could not get new text functions but could manage to get sort and filter. What i did was: 1. Ran clean subscription licenses, remove licenses and uninstall keys from officeScrubber 8. 2. Restart the computer 3. Ran license installation tool (as admin) from https:// drive.google.com /file/d/1Y4Cpp3Lvp9B6yFWuBVcsvowsq3V5k0XH/view?usp=sharing (Obtained from github of darkDinosaur previously, now the github link is not working) 4. Now run excel, sort and filter function should be available.
I'm struggling a bit here. I'd like 2019 running on Win 8.1. I've tried a few methods so far (downloading 2019VL, and 2016 with the appropriate version number from the first page) and I'm just running into errors. I tried then to make an Iso and run the iso separately with no luck. I've run the scrubber in case pieces got installed, and I'm still seeing "couldn't install, is your internet broken /out of hard drive space" error. It will install only if I tell it to be 2016 mode, but I would like the Outlook improvements of 2019. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!
That's what I kept reading, too, but I also saw posts claiming success with OfficeRTool so I assumed I was doing something wrong.
I think abbody1406 build script to enable it on 7/8.1 system's - but I do suggest using 2016 / 365 instead
bitdefender still blocks it despite i put the file as exclusions. any idea? i think the active defense only blocks .exe so i need to add cmd.exe to exclusions?
i already did and it still blocks it. same with the activation, i blocks the cmd.exe the above link didnt work
Amazing tool, just what I was looking for. I wanted to try out the new features in OneNote. BTW Office Scrub option takes too much time, mine kept scrubbing for more than 1 hour, at that point I just closed the window. BTW I have SSD.
hey darkdinosaur, thanks for your hard work. would be nice to have a "daily" schedule for auto-renew, is that possible now? just writing all days of the week in the config? thanks
