1) No, it's my Documents folder, as always. It worked until some versions ago. 2) Sorry, I meant OfficeRTool. Aria2 from UUP Dump also has this problem as well as Malwarebytes installer. Edge and Chrome's also have this problem when updating. 3) It seemed to me you always added a day to the release date.
There is some files (ms img files) that will be Always download to c-download folders Repeat the steps you did, so I can check it
Not in my case, that folder is always empty. Already did. I set to my Documents folder and not only a folder called "Downloads" is created in the root of the C:\ drive and is always empty but also OfficeRTool doesn't download Office files to my Documents folder but to another location which I don't even know where it is.
did update something, bump release do self update, check and tell me. btw, when I use C:\Users\Administrator\Documents as folder it work …. don't know why you having problem's but still checking
It still creates an empty "Downloads" folder in the root of the C:\ drive and still states it's downloading Office to C:\Windows\Temp and not to the directory I set in Build_Info.ini. It looks like OfficeRTool now doesn't crash when using a Build_Info.ini from a previous OfficeRTool version, though. Shouldn't OfficeRTool already come with Build_Info.ini file and not only create it after the user runs it? How can Build_Info.ini know the default download language of the user's OS and why can't one set the proofing language there? Also, since maximing the window doesn't work every time, one can't know what he's doing so he might be choosing to install undesired Office programs or not.
I can't right now. I changed the architecture to x64 and the default download path to C:\Users\a\Documents. The language was set to pt-pt by default.
are you sure you are using latest version ? because it's not use c:\download as default any more (in new version) unless there is problem with current configuration and for download image files from MS, I use PS script instead wget (don't ask me why I did it, don't sure either)
Yes, it states it's from 07/10. What directory is it, then? Do you think it's my Build_Info's fault and that OfficeRTool creates it with the default language set as pt-pt because my OS is in pt-pt? Even so, after changing Build_Info's default download path, OfficeRTool should download Office to the location I set ("Documents" folder or another location), not to C:\Windows\Temp and create an empty "Downloads" folder in the root of the C:\ drive too.
well sir … i maybe give up … I don't see any problem in the script the only problem look like something at your end (your computer ?) when I change directory, it download to the new directory. and you the only one who complain so far …
Do you know another program? I tried using that but nothing can be seen when playing the recording. Also, the new version is called 07/10 in the window on top after running OfficeRTool when it's from 08/10.
don't care too much about the date. one day here / there. *** I use ScreenToGif a lot of times. no have any problem. *** GMT times don't have to be the same
But that doesn't have to do with what I told you since there's a date mismatch between the date you typed in this thread and in the program, not to mention in the OfficeRTool's Readme which mentions june 2021/21. I recorded but one can't see a thing.
