@Dark Dinosaur - I've done a complete uninstall of Office 365 and scrubbed Office using OfficeRTool and it works perfectly. I also now have the Office 365 fluent design too which I lost before. Great program.
I can't seem to clean Office from my machine deeply enough. No matter how I uninstall it, how many files or registry entries I remove, it always installs with the same version and with the custom toolbar icon that I configured: I have made sure that I am not signed into any MS accounts when I perform the reinstallation. I'm basically at a loss so I've decided to buy a new SSD and install Windows on it anew. It's either that or pay for 365, which I will leave a last resort.
I will look into it But I can tell this scrub - Verify registery & folders manual deleted later I will try improve it ... how about this folder. remove it content and report Code: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office
Update version again .. ( in about 10 min ) Update old scrub vbs files with new one from Sara Also add new folder for clean up
I have used the latest officedeploymenttool_15726-20202 and it seems to be working! https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/office-r-tool-the-new-era.84450/page-11#post-1717494 Update: Spoke too soon.. Not with Current..
A window with the 0xc0000005 error opens when Microsoft 365 Home Premium's installer download is about to start when using OfficeRTool. I can't proceed. I've been having this issue for months. This apparently doesn't have to do with the problem regarding EXE files I was having since I did another clean Windows 11 install, didn't even run the VB Runtime's installer and I'm still having this issue. Also, maybe the previous problem also affected CMD files, I don't know.
but you told in the sec thread is happen in all apps, so if the windows it working fine you should check other things like memory problems ? Search for "Windows Memory Diagnostic" app. try it. Spoiler: Did you read this ?
Already did, no problems detected. I told it was fixed for all programs except OfficeRTool. I even did Windows 11 clean installs afterwards and didn't even run the infected installer and I'm still having this issue only with this tool.
I don't want replace current version Because this version still allow install Different product on any kind of source While later version are do problem with that Source from current channel, will fail when trying install ltsc version
