Yes, it SAYS it is creating that folder, but it never does, it goes to the 5 sec countdown back to the main screen. NO folder with any name is ever created. --- DS And yes, I have run the DOWNLOAD LATEST RELEASE [G] - 2.87 (and the Command Prompt is in Admin Mode)
Ok, so I tried to do the installs (several) but when I run the start_setup.cmd (admin) nothing happens - and when I try to run just the Setup.exe I get an error --- DS
If I activate any edition of Microsoft 365 with this tool, can I also download all its future updates normally? Thanks Bye
add new option, still in testing, to use latest setup.exe file. also auto update setup.exe file if needed. (verify file ver vs web ver) it will work only for nt.x 10 & up it will not work on win 7, win 8, even if you check it Code: :: don't use latest setup.exe version :: Provide support for windows 7 sp1 system :: And Also Don't check source vs target :: The new version does not allow anymore - :: to use X channel for install Y product CompatibleMode=1 The new routine is this By setting default value is 1 When Script start, setup file will point to old file Later second check for if compatible mode not define - And if system support the latest version ( minimum nt 10) Than setup file will forward to latest version Can manual change compatible mode to 0 To always use old setup file

I downloaded this tool, disabled the antivirus and ran the GenericSetup.exe file but nothing happens. How come? I have Windows 11 Enterprise 22H2. Thanks Bye
I downloaded this tool ... ran the GenericSetup.exe .. and why would you do that ? it's not make any sense or you didn't explain yourself, and I'm wrong so please explain yourself, Subject, Predicate and Objects
bump version to 3.0 (2023) password is now 2023 too. little code improve, etc. etc. and some improve the auto setup.exe updater. also add auto upx compress, to reduce space # can disabled via settings + the auto update # instead 8mb file, only 3mb file, 5mb of free space
@Dark Dinosaur I've never used this tool. Can it be used with those setup.exe online installers which are a couple of MB only for people who own an Office 365 License to custom install Office without OneNote or OneDrive for example (selective) or that only works for the full offline installer? If it can, how to use the tool with that online installer to only install the components that I want?
