Problem as in? I said it worked and activated as LTSC 2021. Do you mean that this build 16.0.16130.20306 isn't for "Current" channel? Kindly elaborate it. EDIT: Read a few pages back, "LTSC INSTALLATION IS NOT ALLOWED ON CURRENT CHANNEL", Is this the PROBLEM? EDIT 2: Can you add the option to choose retail / volume? Retails ISO works fine everytime whether I choose option "2016 Retail" (Option 1) or "Office 365 Enterprise" (Option 7). I mean, leave the conversion to VOLUME to the ACTIVATION part of the TOOL.
But that can be optional, right? I mean, there is already the 2016 retail option in the tool. Anyway, if you choose to not implement it, no worries mate. Cheers.
Another thing that I want to report. There is a setting in "configure64.xml" or "configure32.xml" which does not work. This one; <Property Name="PinIconsToTaskbar" Value="False" /> Setting this to true does nothing. It does not pin the icons to taskbar. Can you look into this?
Hello people, Sorry for my dumb question but if i'm on VL office, how to set auto activation each 180 days please ? Thanks,
Installed Microsoft Office LTSC Pro Plus 2021 smoothly using the tool. Thank you very much. Just one question. If I wanted to add on language packs after installation, is downloading the install pack and installing it the only way? I am getting "can't be installed on selected update channel" errors when trying to install the packs. I have change the channel to Current from Perpetual2021.
Here is a suggestion to improve your script: 1. If I choose to install "en-us_Office_PerpetualVL2019_x64_v16.0.10396.20023" as my source, do not show any "Retail" options, and only show "Volume" options. 2. And vise versa... if I choose to install "en-us_Office_Current_x64_v16.0.16227.20258" as my source, do not show any "Volume" options, and only show "Retail" options. 3. I think this is why users are getting confused when they see an install error when trying to install MS-Office. I know I was really confused when I started using the new script, since the old script was able to install either "retail" or "volume" without caring which source files were used.
Also... 1. Why is "Office Professional Plus 2016 Retail" shown as an install option, while "Office Professional Plus 2019 Retail" is missing?
I cannot set defender exclusives. When I start OfficeRTool, it hangs at the point "Set Defender Exclusive"! And when I start over, I can't get any valid office channel. I get the error message: wget: --limit-rate: Invalid byte value '--quiet' *** ERROR checking: * CurrentPreview * channel *** No response from Office content delivery server *** Check Internet connection and/or Channel-ID What can I do? Thank You in advance.
I going try something new today Let's it auto detect source & target channel And based on results decide which odt file to use Current situation is unless is windows 10 ...
