@Dark Dinosaur the mediafire mirror has the file name OfficeRTool(20).7z Better to remove the special signs in the file name, when extract to folder "OfficeRTool(20)" script refuses to work then. Rest works perfectly.
I know ... a little problem - I use Mediafire acc and it adds (X) every time btw I don't have a plan to update to the latest 2024.xxxx until the final release, and see the new sku, serials, etc
Downloaded from Mediafire - I double checked the file hash matched up. I extracted. Installed Office 365. But- I noticed System running very slow on Laptop - could not even type sometimes. Windows Defender reported the following... Detected: PUA:Win32/Packunwan Status:Active Date: 27/10/2023 13:31 Details: This program has potentially unwanted behavior. \OfficeRStudio\Data\Bin\cleanospp.exe \OfficeRStudio\Data\Bin\speedtest.exe malwarefixes.com/threats/puawin32-packunwan/ PUA:Win32/Packunwan is a potential undesirable application that can install an additional threat from a remote server or website. PUA:Win32/Presenoker!MSR Status:Active Date: 27/10/2023 13:31 Details: This program has potentially unwanted behavior. \OfficeRStudio\Data\Bin\cmdow.exe
Excluding the folders will solve the problem. It is just packed with upx to save some space upx can save up to 80% of the original size
Hello, For the current channel, OfficeRTool downloads an older Office version of 2020 16.0.12827.20336. YAOCTRU downloads the latest version 16.0.16924.20124. What's the problem with OfficeRTool and how can I fix it?
OP: Do you see the gopher? And I don't see. So we read the topic. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/office-r-tool-project.84450/page-95#post-1813744
Hi. I ran into a problem with v8.7 when I tried option 'I' on Windows 10 x64. The Microsoft installer started then stopped with the error: "This product can't be installed on the selected update channel..." I used pretty much all defaults (current channel - Build 16.0.16924.20150, Office 2019 Professional VL etc.). Package downloaded fine, so bit stuck now. Any suggestions please? EDIT: I also tried option 7 for download channel (PerpetualVL2019), but the script just said package doesn't exist (16.0.10404.20013)! EDIT2: Also changed "Compatible_Mode=1" in settings. Made no difference.
@Dark Dinosaur Hi, Windows details are: Edition Windows 10 Enterprise Version 22H2 Installed on 22/11/2023 OS build 19045.3693 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19053.1000.0 Office package is en-GB_Office_Current_x64_v16.0.16924.20150 Option 2 I'm using on the installer is the only 2019 option: Office Professional Plus 2019 Volume The only retail option is 2016 which is a bit old. Thanks
may I suggest to use en-us, instead en-gb and it will fix the problem, I'm pretty sure edit. if you still want en-gb (what is the point ?) use 2021 LTSC channel, and choice Office 2021 Product
I just tried en-us version (2019) on [1] current. Downloaded OK, but same error message. Can't install.
I also tried option channel [8] LTSC 2021. Chose en-gb. Downloaded OK. Tried installing 2021 Professional VL, but again won't install! This time it was a different error message though. Says 'No compatible Office products are detected'.
It's a brand new clean Win 10 install from 2 days ago! I finally found an option that worked. I chose option (7) Perpetual VL2019. Chose en-us. That now downloaded (en-gb doesn't exist apparently). Got this package: en-us_Office_PerpetualVL2019_x64_v16.0.10404.20013 Chose 2019 Profesional VL to install. Installer started up fine and finished OK. Converted to VL. Activated.
Hi, I am getting this error trying to install Perpetual 2021 / LTSC version of single apps (word, excel, power point, outlook, one note, visio), italian (it-it): Happening on a clean install. config: x6,4 it-it, perpetual 2021/LTSC 2021, single apps.
Several messages above. Check the product configuration, particularly the installation channel. I recommend recording a video or step-by-step description of the steps with selected answers if the information above does not help.
That error happens when starting the installation process (I option) following the config selected above (second screenshot).
