Problem getting worse, now nearly impossible to get a hotmail email account to connect through outlook, no difference between 2013 and 2016. Kind become hit and miss if manages to get though setup of account. Pain in the arse using it now. This on Windows 7, and no not downgrading to Win 10, PERIOD! Anyone else see the same?

Now we are getting somewhere, or at least know why we're getting nowhere. What happens when outsourcing to a third world country. Been downhill since Windows 2000 and office 2003.
So they are killing Outlook off for anything but their crap windows 10 -11. Unless something can be hacked. Sad the world has sunk this low that now windows 7 is seen as one of the better ones Really sad! But no alternatives, Linux I wouldn't waste my time on. Life is to short to deal with that, rather get pen and paper out.
they do a lot of stupid stuff like kill 365 access through Outlook in Windows 10 Ltsc via the web, works fine, outlook ... no user ... we will not let you. you get lost ... we don't want you to use it this way ... fine for me. I install the 365 app on my Android phone. and if I was able to not use it at all, it was better but it's work email ... etc ... etc ... must use it
This is not true! I just tested 365 acces in fully updated Outlook on fully updated LTSC 2021 And fortunately it works
install windows 10 ltsb 2016 + openshell and 365 enterprise ( activate with ohook) add net framework 4.8 + enable 3.5 choose semi-annual for stability
