I'm waiting for a few more people to report their successes and failures before I make it public, but you're welcome to try it now. It's looking good so far.
I'd love to be one of those people myself. Can you send me a PM with instructions as to where I can download your no-HFS-delay loader?
It is also working well on my macbook core duo. I used zsmin's grldr fix together with Hazar's 1.5 loader. Windows 7 Ultimate is still activated after numerous reboots. Thank you very much zsmin and Hazar for your efforts.
Works like a charm on my Intel iMac. BTW, the loader I used was Daz's v1.3. Then replaced the grldr and the start-up delay is gone Cheers zsmin for the link!
My thanks to zsmin and all who contributed to making 7Loader faster on Macs I've just downloaded the no-HFS-delay loader for Macs (or whatever you want to call it). I can't publicize the download address (that's the developers' privilege). I can only say that it works flawlessly on a MacBook Pro. Once the Windows partition is selected in the Boot Camp chooser, Windows 7 begins loading in the next five seconds. No 40-second delay anymore. For those of you fortunate enough to have Paragon NTFS for Mac OS X (or the free NTFS-3g), there's an easier way to install the new grldr. Simply open your Windows partition in a Finder window (Mac OS X), rename your current grldr (in the root of the drive) to "grldr.hazar" and copy the new grldr to the root of your Windows drive. The next time you boot into Windows, bootup will be much shorter. Then you simply open a Command window as Administrator and enter the following: C: CD\ attrib +h +r s grldr You are done. One last favor for those knowledgeable about such things. Any idea as to what might be causing grub NOT to activate Windows on Mac Pros? Might the fact that on such machines Windows usually occupies one entire disk on its own (not shared with OS X) have something to do with it? Thanks!
Ohh sorry, yes yes, I just got it Will try it as soon as I can There´s something special we have to do?
I am speaking with him right now. There are still some issues but macs seem to return positive results
