virplay, If I were you I would start again from scratch. Remove your Boot Camp partition and create a new one. Reinstall Windows 7 and wait for Daz & zsmin to release a new loader with a grldr beta that is guaranteed to work on a desktop mac pro. Also make sure that you have the final RTM version of Windows 7 "Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit RTM Build 7600 16385"
Is what I did that like 7 or 8 times. I removed my bootcamp partition, used Win 7 Spanish 7600 16385 x64 or x86, but always the same problem. "error 15 file not found". Yes I waiting for Daz&zsmin to release a good one for macpro I am using 7600.16385.090713-1255_x86fre_client_es-es_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULFRER_ES_DVD
I think you need to run Hazar's activation first, then replace Mac-friendly bootloader only if you are able to boot to Windows which says is activated.
I used Hazars loader 7loader 1.5 many times, but the delay bliking cursor keeps and keeps and win 7 didnt start , I even waited 5 minutes but the cursor keeps And you say to replace what loader?
Having my macbook hacktivated with 1.5.5 that contains beta6, how can I update to beta 0.90? If zsmin would relase the standalone updated grldr I can overwrite the old one? Becaouse I'd prefer NOT reinstall 1.5.8 (beacuse hacktivation works and I prefer not to touch a thing that works...). Thank You.
Hi all, I'm trying to install Windows 7 64-bit on my pre-unibody MacBook Pro. I'm using the file listed in the OP of the Repository. After partitioning the drive for Boot Camp, I attempt to boot to the DVD I have burned, and am met with this error: 1. 2. Select CD-ROM Boot Type:_ I've done some independant research, and I see I'm not the only one receiving this error. I've found a workaround, but it only appears to work for the Windows Release Client, and not the RTM version that was linked here. Does anybody know about this error, and hopefully, a way around it? I'd love to get 7 64-bit working on my computer! Thanks!
How did u burn ur win 7 image? I use toast titanium version 10 I choose Copy: Image archivo (well i use it in spanish) then burn in 4x
I burned it in Disk Utility, at 4x speed. The disc was verified, and is fine. This type of problem is apparently with all non-unibody Macs trying to install 64-bit Windows 7. I was wondering if there was a fix available.
Just to clarify: You burned the Windows 7 64-bit version, as distributed in the Windows 7 Repository thread, to DVD using Toast Titanium 10 at 4x, and you were able to install it fine on your NON-Unibody Macbook Pro?
