Don't bother going through all the hassle of a format. That 128mb of unallocated space will always be there. The OS X side has nothing to do with this so you can probably just re-create the bootcamp partition in OS X

Well, I formatted anyway and that didn't solve anything.

I give up. Not sure why I'm having this unique problem, but it's just too much of a headache. Guess I'll just go back to XP.

Bootcamp 3.0 on the new snowleopard disk is way better.

currently setting up windows 7 and snow leopard dual boot, have the 40second wait bug on my windows 7.

Will be keeping an eye on this thread.

I don't think that 10A432 is really the final version. There are too many bugs, missing translations and parts still saying "preview". If they are really going to ship this, there will be a lot of complaining.

I didn't claim it was final. I for one think it is superior to Windows 7 and was just hinting at that fact. :) Also, if you're anxious to see what it will be like certainly have a look at 10A432. However, be aware that the actual release will be sometime in Sept.

Snow Leopard Build 10A432 works like a charm, accept the 40 seconds delay problem to boot into Windows after using the 7 Loader

I've happily found 10A432 to be quite a bit faster then Leopard. Been running it for 2 days without issue. :)

Agree! Snow leopard 10.6 Build 10A432 is superior to Windows 7. It's very stable but also VERY FAST, much faster dan Leopard 10.5 :)

    Boottime: 14 sec
    Shutdown: almost 2 sec

Anyone has the same problem? this is wired
After installed win 7, I apply the win 7 loader (I tryed so many of thems), I reboot , but a black screen appears with blinking cursor and it keeps like that long time, nothing happens and then have to shut down and reboot to my mac partition

Exact same problem I'm having. How long are you letting the black screen with blinking cursor stay up? I've gone 10 minutes without it doing anything. Most people here though say it does that for 40 seconds and then finally loads.

I'd be interested to know what version of Windows 7 you're installing (like, OEM or whatever), your specs, version of loader, etc.

    Nothing works :(
I have wait more than 4 minutes, but black screen with blinking cursor keep the same.

    virplay,
I've used the Windows 7 OEM (1255) 64 bit version with hazar's beta 2 loader, of course it has the 40 second delay but boots up. I've also used Windows 7 64bit (MSDN) ISO with the same results. So both of these work for sure on my MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo albeit for the 40 second delay.

    if 1.4 didn't work, beta 2 won't.
