Hi, from the screenshots that you have attached a detail emerges that DOES NOT EXIST ELSEWHERE: the due date of the system is 1 July 2009 rather than 2 July 2009….from as it is looked in ALL the WEB! How it is possible? It's fake or not?
It depends on where in the world your are. The different time zones will act on the time bomb differently. But they'll all die within 24 hours.
When i added the image in SCCM, the Image was named Windows 7 HOMEBASIC, and gave me the choice to use Home, Business or Ultimate out of the WIM.
sorry, but I'am not shure about your post, can you please explain a little more, what is SCCM...............out of the WIM?
I will install business when an x64 version comes out. Until then I need ultimate because of my 4gigs of RAM.
Just spent most of the evening messing with different installs and keys. Like woebetide, i couldn't get into the "boot.win" to see whats in there. (have to wait for the next WAIK) So I tried moding the ISO with different keys, OEM and PID files. Everytime the install completed it was "Ultimate" reguardless of the CD Key used. The rest of time the install failed for one reason or another. One thing i did notice though, is on the EULA this Build is listed as "Win7_B.1_Pro"
SCCM = System Center Configuration Manager - used to remotely deploy Software, Operating systems, Updates etc The WIM contains a catalog file which inventories the images contained in that WIM. Which in this case it contains Home Basic, Premium, Business, and Ultimate. When you import an OS Image into SCCM it reads the catalog file and gives you the choice of OS to install. In this case I chose business, because I do not like nor need any of the MCE stuff.
hi guys do you know an issue of win7 6956 and 7000 too when i start any media file or web streaming, computer hang up forever during performance rating also even if i open picture in media player it hangs!! what do you thinking about that?
I believe on the vista betas you never had an option, it wasn't until the RC builds were released that we started getting a choice, but I'm not 100% certain on that.
@Rudi1, I even looked at that file, and thought 'It couldn't be that easy' @woebetide, Thanks for the info, that could be real handy latter on. @Drakie, Thats what I was thinking. I've still a Vista Beta2 around here, i'll have a look if I get time.
I was rather surprised the ease with which I was able to get the Business version installed. I also installed Home Basic - then formatted that drive - 4 OSs is just plain stupid. I am going to be anxious to see if the public beta is the 7000 build and we can activate these set up with those keys. I noticed there is Ultimate and UltimateN (same for all versions) listed in the "key list" above" - anybody know the difference?
