I Test The Serial With This Program CHKPIDS_Win7.rar , And Then I Get This Error : Bad Number An I Check The Serial With Windows Vista PID Checker , And It Say It Is And OEM:SLP
you need first to install pkeyconfig.xrm-ms from vista you need first to install pkeyconfig.xrm-ms from vista copy it to c: and cmd slmgr -ilc c:\pkeyconfig.xrm-ms after that windows well accept vista key then install cert match your bios windows wil be activited of line if key=cer=slic2.1 but wen run slmgr -dlv its show the windows vista ultimate not windows 7 its proplem
I thought you were using the RC swap method... Now I am even more sure that you will have problems in the near future... Good luck with that, as you are not the first to try doing that... If the same thing happens that has happened in the past, you will still be in Evaluation Mode and Windows is simply inaccurately reporting activation...unless you have done something different, or have gotten your hands on a different tokens.dat/pkeyconfig.xrm-ms files than had been used previously by others who have tried this... Let us know what happens if you reboot and advance your system time (in your BIOS) to next year.
ok ill try now. 1. ill install the vista sp2 pkeyconfig.xrm-ms 2. ill try the key just the 2 steps since i already have slic 2.1 bios and cert feedback in 5 mins lucky for me i have acronis backup for C and if smth is wrong i can come back to fresh install w/out "cracks" in 10 mins
the serial for vista not windows 7 the serial for vista not windows 7 you can chek it by windows vista pid checker wel work its oem slip ultimate the serial i take from your forume vista oem key
Nothing else to do arabmed ? i copied my windows vista 64 bit sp2 pkey to c: and did the things , it said all went ok but when i try that key it says wrong key I have slic 2.1 from dell
arabmed, have you tried advancing the time (in your BIOS) on your system to see if it remains activated after 30 days, or even a year? EDIT: Yes, I see the picture...as you have used the RC swap method (using Vista files instead) for activation, that is why it accepts a Vista key. But there is still no proof that it will not time-bomb out, that is why I was asking if you had tried to advance your system time ahead to check for this...
I thought he was saying it was only necessary to import pkeyconfig.xrm-ms from Vista before importing the Dell certificate and key. I agree with you that if you pull the full licensing folder from vista over, then you get a NOT GENUINE situation (I had tried that earlier, but didn't bother comment on it).
I tried on my Windows 7 rtm ultimate x64 version and it doesn't work. I flashed bios using DELL_QA09.bin slic 2.1 tables. Anyway it's not a good method, with all respect, as when you run slmgr.vbs -dlv command, it says Windows Vista Activation and not Windows 7. It's like using oem slp 2.0 activation on a system requiring only slp 2.1. I'm sure you'll have problems in the near future, so I'll wait for oem dell iso (like on vista) of windows 7, or better, for my personal retail key on next August 6th from my technet/msdn account.
