I've been posting a few times in this forum about getting my old version of XP Home I got with my original Dell 4400 working on my new Intel motherboard. I've tried a number of the different hacks and nothing was working.I was told that Intel BIOS can't be modded, so finally I tried putting in my validation code that came with my orignal Dell and low and behold it activated. I talked to a friend that works for Intel and he told me he thought he remembered that with the orignal XP home that you could validate 2 PCs. Is that correct as it did work, or did I get lucky? Or was it a combination of using some of these mods that made it work? jcg
