This is a good concern when installing or running software or media from a burned disk. Many drives still will not see a burned disk from a certain series from a certain MFG. The name on the disk is not necessarily the MFG of the disk as most of you know. My question is what disk is the most compatible with most optical drives?

    In order of quality:
    >Taiyo Yuden
    >Verbatim
The rest usually do ok as long as you stick with a name brand and don't mind the occasional bad disk, but if you have something serious to save and want to last a long time, the first two.
