After 10 years the September 11 attacks mastermind pays for his deed.

The September 11 attacks (often referred to as September 11, September 11th, 9/11, or Nine-Eleven) were a series of coordinated suicide attacks by al-Qaeda upon the United States on September 11, 2001. On that morning, 19 al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four commercial passenger jet airliners. The hijackers intentionally crashed two of the airliners into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, killing everyone on board and many others working in the buildings. Both towers collapsed within two hours, destroying nearby buildings and damaging others. The hijackers crashed a third airliner into The Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C. The fourth plane crashed into a field near Shanksville in rural Pennsylvania after some of its passengers and flight crew attempted to retake control of the plane, which the hijackers had redirected toward Washington, D.C., to target either the Capitol Building or the White House. There were no survivors from any of the flights.

Nearly 3,000 victims and the 19 hijackers died in the attacks. According to the New York State Health Department, 836 responders, including firefighters and police personnel, have died as of June 2009. Among the 2,752 victims who died in the attacks on the World Trade Center were 343 firefighters and 60 police officers from New York City and the Port Authority. Another 184 people were killed in the attack on the Pentagon. The overwhelming majority of casualties were civilians, including nationals of over 70 countries.

Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden claimed responsibility for the attacks. The United States responded to the attacks by launching the War on Terror, invading Afghanistan to depose the Taliban, who had harbored al-Qaeda terrorists, and by enacting the USA PATRIOT Act. It was not until May 2011 that bin Laden was found and killed.

Pornography found in bin Laden hideout: officials
    http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/05/13/us-binladen-porn-idUSTRE74C4RK20110513

(Reuters) - A stash of pornography was found in the hideout of Osama bin Laden by the U.S. commandos who killed him, current and former U.S. officials said on Friday.

The pornography recovered in bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, consists of modern, electronically recorded video and is fairly extensive, according to the officials, who discussed the discovery with Reuters on condition of anonymity.

Yen, of course you have a right to your opinion. My opinion is that Osama masterminded the slaughter of hundreds, if not thousands of innocent men, women, and children. The Seal team killed a terrorist and murderer, along with the zealots who defended him. There is no comparison, Osama = terrorist, Seals = warriors and brave men doing their duty. As to whether Americans are safer, I know there are many to take Osama's place, but that bast**d won't mastermind or participate in any more killings. It's a win win situation.

    Lets see...
Seal team armed to the teeth, apparently either utterly incompetent to arrest one unarmed man... or so afraid being all alone agains him have no another choice than murder him on the spot. And you hail them as "warriors and brave men doing their duty"?! :wha:

Then again, occasionally the U.S. version of justice looks kinda like Schrödinger's cat...

Dead, gone, and good riddance. What goes around, comes around... Live by the sword, die by the sword..... and all those other good sayings. Probably got booted from the chopper before it reached the carrier, fish food either way.

yes, i do hail them as brave men and warriors. and of course they were armed to the teeth. what do soldiers do in your country, carry sticks? The man participated in the slaughter of thousands, and you feel sorry for him? sounds like you have a skewed sense of justice. I wonder if you had been in the trade towers on 9/11 and survived if you would be feeling the same way.

What do you think whose incompetence is it that Mumbai Attacker are still wandering in Pakistan?
Pakistan Govt.? CIA or anyone else?

I think all attacker were caught by India and one them has penalty of death too. So how we can observe all are alive in Pakistan? and I'm pretty weird that you are saying they are in Pakistan.

Wait... so you're basically praising the for shooting unarmed (read: murdering) man instead of bringing him alive to justice? And somehow it's me who has "skewed sense of justice"?!

Where did you get the idea that I'm defending him? Not from anything I wrote! What I'm against is that your oh-so-brave men went and murdered a man. There's nothing brave in shooting unarmed man and they should be tried for that. It's more than they were willing to give. Without trial, the execution was morally and legally wrong.

If you don't see anything wrong about the situation, that's your loss.

I must say that I don't cherish much symphaty for American foreign policy, but in this case, everything is clear and simple. Osama Bin Laden DECLARED war on USA. USA engaged in that war. Each side in a war decides when and how to stirke in order to destroy the enemy. For the Americans, though, it would be better to support the foundation of the state of Palestine. I think that's the only way to defeat terrorism. Otherwise, this "victory" will mean nothing.

Osama bin Laden was known to have diabetes or some disease that had him have medical technology to stay alive. Yet when the seals found him there was no medical technology that if it we're him he would have needed it to survive. Hence it wasn't him just another scam to get support for war/oil

More US BS drama like 911

Wonder what they got planned to distract/control us next time

Good thing not all people have to ask or see to know what's really going on :sith:

    Hmm...:yoda:
