To MS and you its genuine, thats why when you use an MS tool it reports genuine It works by suspending it in trial mode forever, and altering some settings to make the key genuine
Hazar, first of all, very nice program and great work!! some good news and some bad news on v1.2 good: it's working on my Windows 7 Hebrew machine (that has unicode) so you fixed the unicode issues... bad: restore wat option is not working as it should for me: (tested on the same machine that I used v1.0 before, but of course I uninstalled it before I tried v1.2) 1) it does not restore the watermark. 2) it does not restore the activation screen (after you pass the 30 days, the activation screen before windows 7 start after each reboot that tells you to activate, I have just click "remind me later")
It uses a special edit to make any key genuine I am not sure how it works myself I just found it... It only makes it pass WGA you can't activate with the key or anything, not sure why the hell it works but it does.
That is because it has put your system back to 30 day trial mode, in 30 days it will reappear again it just does a rearm first before it patches to make sure it works properly and as a result sets the trial back to 30 days and that beings counting again when you uninstall. The watermark is the same reason, because when you uninstall you are back in genuine trial for another 30 days
It only does the one rearm and its neccessary f the systen exceeded the trial period. A rearm isn't a big deal, just don't exceed the trial period and run the patch 3 times
or a msg box that asks yes or no to the rearm because i dont have any left now thanks so much for that jkjkjk
Did that.. now it says "notification mode" in OpaTool. However it would be nice to have the right year lol. What does notification mean? @Hazar What do you mean by run patch 3 times? Can i just run removewat 3 times and then I wont have a grace period? Does it matter when I run it?
