You mean the rearm hack? Wouldn't that require me to re-install the whole OS?

nice one... made me laugh really!
    but one serious question...
ones i have taken my blue pill for example... then experience gas..
can i take the red pill after puking?!

    without the reinstallation digestion?!

by the way... i dont have any probs with the first update of RemoveWAT. i guess that would be 2.1 ive been using it since its release... tho i have restricted the WAT update from M$. its still good to go.. no humps or bumps on my other PC.

if you can remember i was the one who had trouble with the M$ update KB971033. installed on Win7 7264 without noticing that it was an RTM 7264 version... so i reinstalled and used the latest DAZ loader, its fine at the moment.. thanks!

No, read repository for going back to trial. You can rearm like 3-4 times

Please help me to understand. The KB971033 sets 2 scheduled tasks in the Task Scheduler. What if I delete both tasks? Then the KB971033 cannot work anymore - or is this too simple?

The other thing is that I do not understand is why the RemoveWat 2.5 downloads the KB971033 itself. Is it a problem to disconnect it from the internet so that RemoveWat cannot do so or might this even be an advantage?

Please Help Me Get My Windows Genuine Logo Back

Greetings to all my fellow members,
Recently I modded my bios and hence decided to uninstall the Hazar's RemoveWAT loader. Before uninstalling RemoveWAT, I performed the 'Restore WAT'. However, I notice that though my bios mod has successfully activated my Windows 7, the genuine logo is missing from my system properties. What is the procedure to get back my genuine logo? :weeping:

Is RemoveWAT supposed to run in silent mode? Or what does silent mode do?

Well, silent mode MIGHT make it run silently. Might have to think about that one.

man these threads need to be cleaned up BIG TIME

there should be 1 thread for Hazar only called "files only" like on satellite forums like ftabins.net. They have it so clean there, maybe do the same thing for this forum here. Discussion thread should be different that files thread.

    Hi Everyone.

I am new to this forum and even though I'm a total noob to these things I can appreciate the excellent work being done here. It was a scare about the MS Update KB971033 that brought me here for help.

I installed a cr***ed copy of Win 7 x64 Ultimate a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't a trial copy but derived from an OEM. At install time, a black command window appears and after a few minutes it says that product key has been generated and the process completes. No activation required.

When checking My Computer/Properties it say that Windows is activated and genuine. OEM is visible amongst the numbers too. I've also installed and am running MS Security Essentials with no problem.

Up to now my system has been set for automatic updates and has been working fine. Then I read about the KB971033 update for Windows to dial home every 90 days to prove authenticity and so I stopped the auto updates. So far I've avoided this KB971033.

    My questions are..
Should I use RemoveWat on this set up?

Would installing KB971033 mess up my system if it comes along? My mate downloaded this update 4 weeks ago and I don't know why (thankfully) my system didn't.

This is anybody's guess, but will a Service Pack 1 knock out my system?

Apologies if these questions sound daft, but I'm on a steep learning curve and here to learn. Have read through most of the 200+ pages here and it's fascinating. Most of it way over my head, but fascinating!

    Many Thanks
