    No im creating another partition (D) taking 400gb from :)C) where i'm planning to install windows 7 and C will remain with 100 gigs for windows, so if s**t happens my girl won't lose any data stored on (D) obviously.

    Before you start to install anything i would create a set of recovery discs of your current setup and back up all info and data you want to keep to an external hdd or dvds

    @Machiavelli7

    Go ahead and install an untouched W7 iso on the C: partition with the cert and key as explained - you'll be ok - why on earth would anyone want to use removeWAT if u already got a legit system? Anyway good luck :)

    Actually there is nothing i want to keep. This preinstalled windows has tons of useless programs, which are only slowing down the system. Maybe i will do a back up so i can restore to factory settings if i need to, just in case, but i don't think i will.

    i have installed win 7 muliple times on multiple computers, laptops, old ones, new ones, even boot camp on imac. as long as you know that the windows 7 iso is a good one u will be fine there is no reason to partion it at all. i understand what machiavelli7 is saying, and if your going to put home premuim on there that is what you should do, its legal and its all fine and dandy. but i suggest getting win 7 ultimate and just using removewat. so many dicisions so little time. anyway to sum up

    dont' partion. either use home premium legally or ultimate with removewat

    He doesnt need a loader to use any version of windows 7 as he has slic 2.1 in his original bios and he has his cert, he will be genuine with any version he installs

    I'm partitioning my lap top, creting a second partition, cause i think it's stupid to have only 1 partition :)C), which is actually the whole hard disk, except for the hidden partitions, having 500gb of space on it and windows installed on it as well. I'm only doing this to prevent data loss if some error occurs and im forced to format and for data i mean movies, music, photos.

    having a second partition is making the most of the space he has for storing other data on rather than on the main OS partition incase anything happens in the future

    Now im backing up and will take some time, so im looking for a cracked for life antivirus program, cause my girl is a lil bit....noob and don't know how to change kaspersky's keys every week or month. Can anybody suggest me one? I know nod32 has an old version which was crackable for life, how is the latest one? I've always been a kaspersky follower, so i never bother using a different antivirus. I know also antivir is free but it kinda suck...or not?

    avast has a free edition that works pretty good all u have to do is register which takes 30 seconds add malwarebytes to her computer and she should be said. also firefox with the addblock plus addon is a good option to have. stop bullish pop-ups
