I installed a fresh copy of windows 7 professional x64 yesterday and i'm still using the 30 day trial. When i check windows update i can't find this new kb971033 update. How much time should i wait for the update to install, so i can uninstall and hide it??

joker yes ur are right it does not work for vista sorry. and machiavelli umm it should show up under start/windows update and you should just be able to hide it there. it may be downloaded already in which case you need to go to control panel and go to uninstall program and view installed updates. and look for it there if its there. then you have to choices 1) leave it there and install removewat 2.2.5 which will take care of it. 2) uninstall and then go back to windows update and hide it so it doesnt not install again

I know where to look for it, but the fact is that i don't see it, probably cause it's not installed yet.

I've had problems in the past, so I use 2 separate drives and run 2 OS. my 7 works fine thanks to Hazar. I had XP before, but I got attacked by a nasty virus that hijacks yahoo IM and sends a link and it came from someone i know and ESET's NOD32 didnt catch the virus. so I had to scrap my xp and i misplaced the install disc so I put vista in its place. i keep it as a back up in case something happens to my 7

well u could use tinyxp as a back up. or even tiny7 lol. that way if you 7 crashes you have a back up. both of them are buy eXPeriace. they are small and easy to install. having vista incase 7 crashes is just not a good idea. then u will 2 messed up os's lol

lol it's awkward to see running vista and 7 in dual boot. I mean, vista is the crappy version of 7 :D. There are a lot of torrents with windows xp copies on the web, why not download them :)

@ thedonofdeath last 3 post of yours refer to
are you one commission trying to push these :D no seriously i would never install any of those stripped down versions more bother than they are worth, but if you are really determined make your own then you can decide what to remove, plenty of tools about to do it.

    Question

    Hey.

I just downloaded Windows 7 Ultimate 7600, and plan to install it on my laptop. Now I'm a complete n00b at this whole activation thing, so I've been reading up on the different options available.

So far, this one looks like the most popular option amongst people. I'm just concerned whether completely removing WAT will be a problem while installing service packs, updates, etc.

Also, does this also bypass the Genuine Advantage for software like Microsoft Office?

    Thanks.

Well I've actually spoken to eXPerience a few times and he does put a lot of work into his releases. I use tiny7 on my netbook and it's fine.

Thanks Hazar !!!! You've done a great job, this a magnificient tool to disable Windows Activation Tool. But When we go to the System Properties then on that page, the footer is empty. I mean there we should usually see Your Windows is Active and Product Key is xxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx ? but it's not showing using your tool. So tell me why it doesn't shows this?

Another thing is for downloaders is that this tool cannot be downloaded from Internet Explorer 8, you can download it using Firefox. Thanks!

    Regards,

For removeWAT that is normal and if I wasn't using daz loader I'd be using removeWAT.

I believe it's because WAT it's patched or something to that nature

    Hi all,

I installed the latest RemoveWAT, but I have a problem.

Is it normal, even with RemoveWAT installed, you will get the Windows Activation screen which says you must activate Windows within .. days to continue using all Windows features? Can I safely ignore this?
