He did it with Orbit30 but Orbit30 stopped and Daz was much more ahead of the game compared to Hazar so be basically gave it to Daz and started another type of activation exploit. Why fight over the basically same piece of software made by 2 different people.
It would appear that MS is stepping up its AP ploys. My daughter is running the BIE version of Win 7 Ultimate 64. She downloaded and installed the WAT (KB971033) update, so she says, by mistake. RemoveWAT v2.20 worked great. Up until today she was getting Microsoft Security Essential updates. It has stopped working, and attempts to uninstall and re-install it produces an error message at the validation stage. I tried using the latest RemoveWAT v2.25 but got the same results. So she's back to the free version of Avira AV.
Avira free is my favorite AV. Her problem is that she was using BIE products...lol Tell her to install the RTM in repository in stickies then use latest removeWAT or daz loader...lol You could also use daz loader to uninstall loader poorly placed loader by BIE then restart then install latest removeWAT or daz but I recommend using clean install with RTM Also in the daz loader thread he talks about problems with BIE bologna...lol
This is so strange... I tried using removeWAT ...it works fine..but the watermark doesnt go..it keeps saying This copy of windows is not genuine... I tried all the install options given in DAZ laoder...none of them works...for me...so I switched back to removeWAT... (except watermark) atleast..it is there.... + it doesnt let me install s/w's which need genuine windows 7 btw, I have used MS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Integrated Feb 2010 OEM DVD BIE
If your after an activation method simular to RemoveWAT I suggest you keep an eye out for the new Chew7 v1.0 (formerley Chew-WGA)
If you continue to use "modified" releases--as opposed to a true untouched ISO, you may continue to experience strange anomolies when using tools not designed for your modified release.
Hello. I am very pleased with the RWAT program! However, I just attempted to download and install the latest version of Microsoft Security Essentials and was told that my copy of Windows 7 is not valid! I had no problems with the original MS Security Essentials. Is there now a problem with the RWAT program? Hope you can help with this one.
Looks did not work on 2008 R2 installation Thanks for the tool. But I tried to use it on a 2008 R2 Enterprise x64 installed on a Dell 1855 Blade server with 4GB RAM and 2 Xeon 3.0GHz CPUs for some reason it was not fully working. In the Computer Properties there is no activation info, which looks OK, but in Server Manager it sill says not activated. I don't know if it's working or not. Have to use the loader which worked.
I could be mistaken but I don't think this is for R2, at least not yet that is. Correct me if I am wrong on this though. I think the same KMS emulation for Win7 Enterprise will work on Server R2 though dude.
I have also converted to unactivated iso images from the repository. Have checked it against various verifiers and all found them to valid iso images. My experience with installation is that installing the repository unactivated image is much more smoother (no errors, no blank screens, etc) and install is completed in 20-25 mins max.
