    More in-depth explanation of how removewat works?

    Hi hazar

    I am very interested in your works, and I would like to know more about how they work
    eg
    Files removewat affects
    Commands used
    How I would go about activating windows 7 myself using the removewat method (eg steps
    as to what removewat does)
    Who programmed the UI, what language they used and if they have any sites.

    If you are able to answer any of these I would be very grateful.

    Many thanks,

    xploshin:biggrin:

    P.S. :confused: JW how old are you? :confused:

    Does RemoveWAT show update KB971033 as installed?

    So I installed windows 7, and hid the update KB971033, and set updates to "notify me". The day after installing removeWAT 2.2.5, I noticed that the update is shown as installed in windows update.

    Has removeWAT done this to stop the update from installing, cause otherwise windows somehow installed the update itself, against my efforts!?

    I think removeWAT actually installs WAT then disables it by patch. I think...lol

    I just tried to use your Windows 7 Activater followed step by step through the read me checked my status and it says I still need to activate. Do I need to run Removewat before it will change?

    @AMoldyStump
    this is how I did after my win 7 installation: I omited an activation process by pressing the NEXT button in the last steps of os installation. then I installed all critical and necessary updates as usual in windows update window. afterwards I launched WATremover, pressed a button, waited a while for a self-restart and the os' WAT gone. that's all. before that I'd switched UAC off and launched WATremover tool as admin to be sure everything would go well.

    @Ryzaar
    yeah, that link doesn't work for me either, however, I got wat-remover in the time when it worked. you can still get one via torrents, don't worry about it. below are the hashes being produced by myself that you can compare to yours.

    I just found this from a google search,and I just want to extend a thank you for such as simple easy to use tool, that has no viruses or other crap bundled with it. Been searching for something like this for a long time.

    I'm testing it now and so far so good. :cool:

    Oh and just for the record, I installed it when it was WAY overdue, I was getting various popups telling me I'm a huge criminal and stuff. It still worked, all that stuff is gone.

    Also been searching for a forum to hang out at and this place looks interesting, I will probably stick around.

    It means, after a fresh installation of 7, if u use RemoveWAT, it firstly install the WAT update[KB971033], and then removes the WAT from the OS ~ while keeping its genuine status......... thats it
