NO..that is not what he said. Your tone is condescending and pathectically transparent. Sour grapes I suppose.....goodbye Daz......
Hazar, your starting idea was (and it's still) GREAT !! But if i'm not wrong, RemoveWAT is no more an "ONLY 2 COMMANDS" , and it's renaming files or using patched dll. This is surely not like using a modded tokens.dat or a "SLICed" bootmgr, but i think that it's not so strange that someone could be a little confused about it... don't you think ? There's no description at all on what your App is doing in the Download page... maybe adding a full list of what RemoveWAT is doing could be interesting, IMHO. Cheers Clay
It does those 2 commands, plus a DLL patch created by nononsence for the control panel and a watermark patch created by anemeros, and a reg tweak by me to make the key permenantly genuine.
DVD Kit Hazar How does this update affect the DVD Kit? Well done laddie, impressive thinking and product My Best
Silly Q sorry - does that then place a finite limit on the patch, or does it theoretically work > infinity?
It works infinity, it just needs to do a rearm ONCE before patching to make sure the system is in trial mode.
All clear. So does that then mean one can only run the patch up to 3 times as that is the rearm limit (from memory)? Also, before updating RWAT versions, best to uninstall previous, then install new - or just install new over previous?
And if there are no Rearms left?? I think then you have to set the Regvalue "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform" SkipRearm from 1 to zero. Right? Or is that function already integrated in your tool?
The rearm is only needed if the trial has expired. Using it 3 times will remove all your rearms, yes, but it is only needed if its expired. Using it inside the trial period will still rearm once however. It rearms once then disables it! someone who runs the patch 3 times on the same install is a serious nut
That value is a myth and does not work Besides I would have to undo it in the uninstall, nullifying it anyway.
haha you can release a new version that will not remove the activation section? haha i know that its weird but i dont want the activation section to be deleted
Well patching it to say activated is not the approach of this patch sorry This patch disables all licensing features like slmgr and SLUI and system properties, but keeps you genuine. It is meant to make out that WPA/WAT was never there.
