Thanks so much for your efforts with this! I just signed up to say thank you, ask a question and provide a solution for those of you searching for the patch. 1 - Scenario: I bought an MSDN key back in January and now Microsoft has flagged my system as non-genuine after installing that update. Can I just run RemoveWAT and everything should be kosher, even though I've currently been flagged as non-genuine? Or do I need to take some extra steps? I viewed numerous pages throughout this thread but didn't see this particular scenario mentioned, so I thought I would ask. Also, the goal here is to be able to reach activated status without having to reinstall the OS, but if that's what has to happen at this point, then I completely understand. 2 - If you don't want to look for a mirror on a service like Rapidshare or download via Torrent, a simple Google query will yield results with people keeping this file on their site! Put this in Google, hit "search" and voila! Code: intitle:index.of removewat22 -torrent -share Paste that line in Google just like you see it. Most of the results will be people's personal servers where they have that file stored. Thanks again and if someone can let me know about my question, I would be most grateful! -'Linguist
Sorry confuse , what's the step again , ? newbi3 here. 1. After fresh install of window 7 2. Apply RemoveWAT or Update the KB971033 first ? why need to remove ?
Thanks for this it's a very nice program, but anyone have issues installing MS Security Essentials with this? Whenever I click Validate in the install process, it says Microsoft Security Essentials Setup Has stopped working >Check online for a solution or >Close the program. Any way to fix this?
That is normal with this type of hack dude. It cannot validate windows because the hack. The only way around that is to remove removeWAT and then install a loader or something like that so it can validate online. That is the one drawback to this particular type of hack. Hope this helps
I have istalled this and once completed i tried to update, no problems at all so far so thanks to all.
