Surely it has to be the WAT. The computer is absolutely perfectly fine and freeze free for several days the second do a system restore. The second I remove the WAT all the freeze's begin again.

I had this same business happen with me. My trouble turned out to be a flakey DIMM (memory chip).
Ran a memory diagnostic that flagged memory as the problem. Hope this helps

    Flaky memory chip?

I'm sorry I'm not sure I understand. I thought it would be impossible to have a hardware problem due to a wat remover?

Heh changes things. How would I fix this if its the case and will it cost me anything?

Maybe he means memory stick. if you run sfc /scannow in elevated cmd prompt that helps fix any troubles

I tried that command prompt and it said i had to be an administrator even though i have myself set as such. And even still am i wrong in saying that it cant be the memory? how does a wat remover effect hardware? it just seems so illogical.

    Maybe flakey memory ?

 Woe! I did not mean to imply that the Wat tools could cause such a thing, just exacerbate something that was on the edge
already as in my case. Running a memory check won't hurt in any
case I would think . Just replacing a ram chip was My problem . Just wanted to mention it, not cast a bad light on a great tool.

Your right that it is illogical that wat will effect your hardware!! But you are missing the point that neo11 was trying to make!! You did say that you have built this computer with a friend. Could be bad memory, and if its new memory it still could be bad!! Could be something else you did while building the PC?? Restore WAT and see what happens. If the problem is still there then guess what, it was not RemoveWAT!! (Which I dough it was)

hi, i am new to this forum and for this program, i have some doubts i hope they get answered!

i had a clean install of windows 7 and with a loader i dont remeber wich one it is, yesterday acidently installed that "evil" patch by mistake since i didnt know about it till i got the not genuine stuff.

so what i did was check for a solution and found this on other place version 2.2.4 afaik, and applyed the patch

so far so good, wanted to know is the durability of the rwat program.. seen many people getting trouble after a while(is there anyone that have it already for a long time ?) if i need for some reason to uninstall the loader, or if later on if i want to do a clean install the loader that already is instaled wil cause me any troubles..

    thnks in advance

No no I got his point! and I'm thankful for all the help naturaly. But now my computer is doing it and we both cant have bad ram surely? Mine isnt even new. I was running this WAT remover before I had recently had to reformat my pc and now it just crashes my computer every so often.

But it's fine I just got a loader. Seems to be doing the trick just fine. Thanks for all the help though guys!

I did a clean install of Win 7 X64 Ult, Build 7600, about 4 months ago. I used RWAT (1.8?). Worked perfectly. Done many updates since then.

Last night I did another manual update, and somehow KB971033 snuck in. This morning I had a "non-genuine" notification window up...

Anyway, I just ran the orginal RWAT, and clicked "Restore WAT", rebooted... Then up came Windows with a black theme... Ran the latest version of RWAT... rebooted... Up came Windows again... I manually restored my original desktop theme...

All working 100%, so far - 10 hours later. Total time taken to make the fix - 5 minutes max.

Many, many thanks, Hazar, for a tool that allows us to reverse itself so elegantly. I have every confidence that if things go wrong in the future, I will be able to unload RemoveWAT, which will get me back to a "standard", unactivated install of Windows, and I'll have all the available options open to me at that stage.

Hallo from Italy, never posted here and sorry for my bad English.

Had today the same problem downloading KB971033. Tried to reactivate using last Daz but nothing happened.
So I tried to use RWAT and W7 is now ok. Just had to restore manually my desktop.
Just a question? Using RWAT may have any efect on hardware functioning or receiving other updates or time limits about OS functioning?

Thank you for all help give us! :D

Why should the loaders stop working?

Well it seems a few people are following the advice of more experienced members and not having much luck. I'm no expert but i tried everything i read on this forum to sort it and still nothing. I'm presuming its because i originally used the bie version ... i dont know so im going for a clean install.

Wasn't trying to start anything just read between the lines of a few posts ... probably a bit too much.

But my original questions still stand.

If you're using RWAT, then it works best if you're using a "clean", commercial version of Windows 7. Not a pre-activated version from a torrent, not an old beta or RC version, not an ugrade from a RC version, etc. Do yourself a favour, get a straighforward install ISO.

The same probably applies to using loaders - best to start with a clean installable, rather than something upgraded or "pre-activated".

With RWAT, updates work fine, but make sure you do them manually, so you can pick up on any updates that might bite you.
