    I tried two ways:

    1. Used RWAT (i had valid OS before installing KB971033) after removed the update. System was functioning right.

    2. As I had a valid OS tried to use DAZ Loader and now I have a valid OS again.

    dumb question:
I presume the download link in post 1 links to the latest version of RemoveWat (2.2.5.2) even though the hyperlink is titled "REMOVEWAT22"?

go to this thread and either use Hazar's program or just look though the thread for the code. I know I wrote a comment on how to change it to integrate Daz's loader instead of removewat into it so you can always use that to show you how to do it.

I'm not too sure about this... but try this:
Create a shortcut for the RemoveWAT22.exe
Right-click and go to Properties of the shortcut.
In the target box, insert the switch /s eg. "C:\Users\...\RemoveWAT.exe" /s
    OK!
Double click on the short cut to run the app.

I'm pretty happy with an easy to use & bugless program that updates, that can easily be fully reversed and removed if needed.

can't think of anything more to want. But, to each his own :)

    Service Pack 1

Hazar, first of all I would like to express my sincere gratitude for you and everything you do, you are a great service to the community.

Yes guys, the new 7 update is real, it has just happened to me, but once again Hazar has saved us, this will stop it screwing everything

A question, What about Service Pack 1? That will be a really deep scan so will this hold up? And does this actually make the software genuine or does it just remove the annoying reminders?

Thank you so much again Hazar, I am in your debt

This is my 1st post. I would also like to reiteratate that I am no way trying to say what's better here but will for the record say what I do know. I took the dreaded KB971033 way back when and got the I might have a pirate copy of Windows 7. I know I'm not genuine so this was really no surprise. I found this site and downloaded Hazar's remove wat. Cleaned me up and I have taken all updates. However ms would not let me downlad certain things as they said I could not pass validation. Also if I did a reboot with removewat there would be a "Windows Not Genuine" notification that I would have to X out of or cancel to go to Windows 7. Upon all this reading; I downloaded Daz's loader. I removed removewat. Now I can see my computer name an system properties again. The KB971033 is signed by micorsoft, first (the file was there but not signed before), I then followed the instructions. Did the uninstall (even tho I did not install this), rebooted, did the install, rebooted, then clicked the this windows is not genuine resolve,This came back genuine and on reboot no nag screen. Thanks to all of you guys who try so hard to help us poor people.:worthy::worthy:

This is the KB971033 and not a joke as it does not spy for traiters (maybe it could), but it does spy for MS.
