Cheers Hazar, And thank for all your hard work, This realy is a great tool. Can you tell me if this will pass the validation check when downloading xp mode?
The newest version of RW actually installs KB971033 (if it's not on your system allready) and then disables it!!
As stated by FreeStyler above, NO!! But if you restoreWAT you should be able to go and get what ever you want from M$ then run RW again!!
I tried two ways: 1. Used RWAT (i had valid OS before installing KB971033) after removed the update. System was functioning right. 2. As I had a valid OS tried to use DAZ Loader and now I have a valid OS again.
dumb question: I presume the download link in post 1 links to the latest version of RemoveWat (2.2.5.2) even though the hyperlink is titled "REMOVEWAT22"?
how to integrate in windows 7 how can i run this silently and integrate into an iso so i can just run setup(windows 7 setup) and have remove WAT run?
go to this thread and either use Hazar's program or just look though the thread for the code. I know I wrote a comment on how to change it to integrate Daz's loader instead of removewat into it so you can always use that to show you how to do it.
I'm not too sure about this... but try this: Create a shortcut for the RemoveWAT22.exe Right-click and go to Properties of the shortcut. In the target box, insert the switch /s eg. "C:\Users\...\RemoveWAT.exe" /s OK! Double click on the short cut to run the app.
I'm pretty happy with an easy to use & bugless program that updates, that can easily be fully reversed and removed if needed. can't think of anything more to want. But, to each his own
