    About CHew wga

    Hi,

Both my 2008r2's VM's (esxi 4) patched with CHew wga suddenly do random shutdowns. No errors, no entry in logfiles, just shutdown. The shutdown command has its origin from 2008r2 itself according to ESXi logfile. Changed admin passwd. Applied policy so that only administrator can do shutdown-> no effect

Removed Chew wga (with remove option) from 1 VM and patched this VM with RemoveWAT 22

    Waiting...........................

    Has anyone experienced this also?

Thanks for trying to help me.First of all i also dont know how clean the copy of windows is,but so far i did not have any problems.I dont want to buy a copy of windows 7.if you know a place where i can have a clean copy of windows i will be glad if you told me.however lets assume the copy of windows is clean and focus to the problem i have.I am new here so i dont know what RW is,as you mentioned before. If you could give me exact directions for the steps i have to take.and first of all is removeWAT designed to run just after the windows installation?Or can it be used at a situation like mine, thus with the system full running. Please anybody,I am very anxious about that s**t that happened.anyone with the same problem??

That RW2.1 has to be on that disc somewhere in order for it to work!!
I think I have a copy of it. I will check and if I have it I will post it for you!!

    Hi,

    Hope somebody can help!

I have now installed Windows 7. Should I now allow Windows to download automatic updates, after I've installed the Remove Wat?

    @ charis_r

Let me explain u the whole thing. RemoveWAT disables the activation technology of Windows. For re-enabling this technology, RemoveWAT has a option, though it is not sufficient for completely undo the changes. Then DAZ wrote a tiny program [WATFix] to completely undo the changes and convert Windows to its default stage. Hazar asuured us that the next version of RemoveWAT has the ability to undo the chnages completely without any other program(s)......
