Hi... your problem is strange, to say the least. I think you're gonna need to uninstall and reinstall RemoveWAT again, sounds like WLMS didn't get disabled.
Yeah, I know. I was thinking of a fresh format of everything but to recover my data back is kinda' troublesome so I was thinking whether is there any simpler method. I would like to try that but how can I uninstall my current WAT and install the one in this post? Or, can I just 'override' it but installing this one straight? Sorry for the question.
I had to make an account to applaud Hazar for this. It takes knowledge and talent to make something like this, and he packaged it in an easy to download and extremely easy to use .exe. Keep on fighting the good fight.
Download version from first post, If it allows you to immediatley Remove WAT, do that. If not, press Restore WAT then Remove WAT
Yeah, I have done that. The application was simple and great. You've been a great help and I'll test-run it on the weekends and I hope it'll all be done up nicely! Once again, thanks for all the help so far, everyone. =D
Hi, I am new to this forum, I have some basic knowledge and have sorted out many problems with computers but compared with you guys that make the loaders, activators, etc I am a complete novice. First of all A big thank you to Hazar for all the work he has put into the RemoveWAT tool. I would most appreciate a few answers so that I know exactly what to expect and how to deal with it. I am sure all the answers are here but a direct reply from someone who knows there stuff could save me hours going through page after page of threads. I have just installed Win7 and used RemoveWAT v2.2.5. it all looks good so far. Will I have to rearm after 30days and if so can someone be kind enough to give me a link to the best software for the job. I've tried the slmgr commands to check on rearm status but get a message saying command not recognised, this I guess is due to RemoveWAT? If a rearm is going to be required is there a way to check on the amount of days left without uninstalling RemoveWAT. I've tried the 'genuine' check on MS site but it keeps saying 'unssuccesful at this time' is this normal?
If u have used RemoveWAT , then there is no need for rearm..but if still want to check rearm count, reset your rearms etc, then u can go to IR4 thread from the MDL projects and Applications area.. RemoveWAT doesnt support genuine validation..if u want genuine validation then i suggest u install Windows Loader by Daz..which can also be found in the MDL projects section..
Thank you Qewlpal and Tod for you fast response. So, just to clarify, RemoveWAT, once installed, should keep win7 going for ever without any other actions being required. Unless MS find a way to stop it. And finally, the only time I may need to rearm is after having uninstalled and reinstalled RemoveWAT in order to load win7 updates which (if I have understood correctly) reduces the rearms available by 1 each time this is done.
Yes, but WAT update might flag your system as non genuine with REmoveWAT, i recommend Daz loader though it is your personal preference.. Yes, each time you rearm the count is decreased by one..but you can reset the rearm count using IR4 back to 4..
I would not bet my money on it, you like reliable? go for a bios mod, or the next best alternative Windows Loader by Daz
I dont think RemoveWAT is reliable. This's just my personal opinion. I think so because RemoveWAT will remove relevant files that are required to activate Win7. I think the methodology is just like making Win7 an entire freeware. However, Win7 does have online checks and Windows Update to validate your copy. Then your computer may be recognized as "pirate". On the other hand, Daz's loader seems to be acceptable and more reliable, as it will fake Windows to think that your copy is using oem channel to activate. So I think an emulator is the main and a remover is the alternative. If the emulator fails in activating your copy, then try the remover. Everyone likes to see "Genuine" and this is why Daz gains more reputation than Hazar.
don't worry hazar there many people using your tool including me yeah...your tool not perfect but i know you can improve it just take your time and make it work like other tools so no one can say "I dont think RemoveWAT is reliable" p/s: i don't think "I dont think RemoveWAT is reliable" is a very nice word to use you can use pm or whatsoever if you want to suggest using other tools just don't hurt the feeling of author cheer
