Genius solution: simple and perfect. Here is working. Perfect, no problem. Txs a lot for all people from Brazil.
Hi, First of all, during setup just click next and skip the key install. It works on Enterprise To run it just open it up and click on RemoveWAT on first logon yes. As for how it works, it disables software protection from the OS, removing checks/nags from the OS, with some tweaks to fool MS into thinking its in trial mode. Hope this helps.
I experienced this too today, I will look into it. Looks as if the registry edit is being reset before setup completes. I think I can solve it.
S Switch I installed windows 2008 R2 enterprise and also standard using the oem folder following your instructions Hazar and both checked out as genuine with the diagnostic tool. Also windows 7 64 and also 32 ultimate installed all in vmare 6.5 Hope this helps My best
yes but when you forward the date it wont :O Its a problem with the OEM method, running from windows is fine.
Currently working on an alternate patching method that will work on all builds and not need a watermark patch
Aww yeah. The new method is a universal disabler and actually kills the licensing core, as it says on the tin. No need for watermark patches as what creates the watermark is gone to! I havetested the equivalent of this on vista and it passes WGA
Oh yeah HOLY CRAP I found out how to get unlimited rearms via some registry hacking, the old vista method of skiprearm DOES NOT WORK but THIS ONE DOES! Awww yeah.
Yah, without RD Licensing, remote desktop services can't be activated. When trying to activate remote desktop services, it says: A Product ID was not generated during the installation of the RD Licensing. Reinstall RD Licensing. (This is on Windows Server 2008 R2.)
thanx + some questions Hazar, first of all thank you for this marevelous tool. I intend to use it these days, but before I do, I have some questions: 1. when you release new version, how to upgrade to it? 2. what would happen if I uninstall it? 3.a) do you expect MS will find the way in future updates to detect your patch and disable it? 3.b) any emergency rescue tips if one day W7 stops working because of that possibility? 4. do I have to disable Windows Defender when using RemoveWAT? 5. can you, in future, add some FAQ with the patch (txt file within ZIP is great)? Once again, thank you for everything!
Hmm, this sounds interesting and if i understand this correctly would in theory mean a way of having a permanent (or permanently reset-able) trial version, at least as far as MS could tell. There must be more to this though, judging from how excited you are about it
Well i tried it, it worked a few times more than normal but still black screeneed and went non genuine. Never mind. 1.5 is out with the new patching mechanism, changelog in the file
