Will do, thx man! Currently I'm still sitting with the original 2 command RemoveWAT. Guess it's time for an update. I don't use win updates so I haven't had problems at all.
I am just do a fast test with change date forward and back.Try windows update and all option work so far.I will try the s /switch option too,so I can only say that this is the best options for me and really big thanx to the BOX-too for his great info! now I can use any windows 7 version without care about the activation.
Anyone know perhaps a quick way on how to integrate the update patch into the ISO? And one last thing I just one to make sure, if you don't apply the patch before RemoveWAT, you'll only run into problems when updating later on? And the patch isn't necessary if you don't update, thus not vital to the success of RemoveWAT? Quickly read through the last few pages and couldn't get an answer for this. Thx
Nah its just that update does not install with removewat installed so youre best off integrating it into your iso so its installed before removewat is run. If you run into update trouble in the future, you just need to unisntall removewat, install the update then reapply removewat. Also you can use Jinje's DISM tool to integrate an update
Do we still lose one rearm? If yes, then after 3 uninstalls of removeWAT ( because of update troubles) we would be stuck again with no re arm left. Edit: I ask this because i have only 1 Rearm left according to Napalums Loader-info.
Thx, I reset my Re-arms, so I now have 4 Rearms left, just in case. Then i'll uninstall removeWAT 1.3 and use 1.7
I used Napalums Win7 extreme edition loader. In easy mode (not clicking on advanced) ticked on the bottom (trail reset section) unlock, then activate.
How many times can you reset the re-arms with Napalum's program? I know you can reset the re-arms, but I am pretty positive that there is a set amount of times that you can do this in Windows 7 (I think you can reset the re-arms twice before Windows 7 will not allow any more)... You were able to reset the re-arms infinitely in Vista (MS put the option in for smaller OEMs and PC retailers (that were not big enough to get SLP keys)...so they could keep the PC's they were trying to sell in trial mode for as long as needed...so the customer, when they purchased the PC, could activate Windows online (with the COA sticker) and MS can keep track of things better). If I am wrong please correct me... If you have done the reset re-arm option more than twice with Napalum's program, then I guess he must have figured a way around this re-arm limitation imposed into Windows 7.
Just used RemoveWAT 1.7 on my W7 Enterprise and it worked. Also MGADiag says it's genuine only on the License page it tells me it cannot find "slmgr.vbs". Running Windows Update generated an error but then I reminded that my date was set at 1-November-2010 . After changing it back to 2009 it ran without an error. Great work!
After the installation of Win7 I think I used 2 re-arms, because I installed removeWAT 1.2 then uninstalled and installed 1.3 Then I saw with napalum that i have only 1 re-arm left an reset the re-arms. Then I uninstalled removeWat 1.3 and installed removeWat 1.7 So I did reset the re-arms only once
The skiprearm thing in Vista was a myth and didn't actually work. By default in 7 you get 3 rearms, once you have used all 3 you can use napalum's tool to get them back again an infinite amount of times AFAIK
Windows Update needs to be run relative to the current date, forward 31 days then it will work and show you the patch is working
Supper ,Thanks!! but one is perhaps German or Spanish thereby those can and say briefly can like that exactly function is.
