    wich version of removeWAT is actually on the first page ?
    the link is named removewat_3
    is it build 1.7 or build 3 ?

    Well in which case something is really wrong as the patch doesn't make many changes at all. What is the problem exactly?

    I had tried 1.4 on a fresh install last week, ended up with a "this copy of window is not genuine" in the lower right corner. re-ran 1.4, removed. it went back to trial status. ran 1.7 a couple hrs ago, "this copy of window is not genuine" showed up again. going to try the 1.7.2 loader I guess. :confused:

    basically i did a clean install witha slipstreamed removewat 1.2 in a x64 windows 7
    not a single version of removewat will restore properly

    No it does not dude. That was discussed in another comment but it does not use Re-Arms.

    Because I tried to PN you but in "sent items" there is no PN to you.


    Edit: I don't want to go off topic, but I wanted to help Pre in german. So either we are discussing it here in german or we have to find out what's up with the PN system.

    To ALL with Windows 7 problems,

    One method to try and repair Windows 7 is this command line. You can make a bat file and run it as ADMIN. Please use it monthly for maintenance and security too. Also, pass this info to all Windows users. :)

    And what will happen to someone who just used RemoveWat or other options? If your activation method was at all dodgy then DON'T use SFC /scannow. If you use custom themes some of those files will be replaced with SFC also.

    My answer, to each his own. Let the users decide which is more important. It is simple really, to fix Windows' problems or not fix the problems. If your activation is "dodgy", you should try better methods.

    Sooo um like randomly i started getting the nag windows not genuine when i right clicked on a bat file and selected edit which opened notepad.. i've restarted my comp plenty of times since i used removewat1.7.. i restarted after the nag and it stopped.. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this yet

    it was there and then it was gone again.. like wtf lol
