Hmm... this says I rated the thread, I have not even touched the ratings and I know it was working earlier. I don't like my account being tampered with for no reason at all if this was done by a mod, if it's not then you got a bug in your forum software.
Can i Use this on a system i activated? I activated my Win7 Ultimate X64 using one of Microsoft's free trial keys on a RTM version 7600.384 (not sure why it's 384 and not 385) and "slmgr -dlv" shows it's due to expire Jun 1, 2010. Can I use this tool on my machine?
it is reccomended to upgrade to 5 version, but yes this tool may stop the expiry, have not tested but it should. It also works on RTM 16385 build.
Wasn't going to rate it at all since I'm not yet sure what to make of it just yet, plus as I said before if it works long enough then I would have rated it with a fair star rating. When I noticed it saying I have already rated this thread my words went something along the lines of "wtf, bs"
Of course you may use this. It will simply freeze activation as it were. Win 7 x76? Some new type of bittage ? Typical of MicroSoft to keep us in the dark
@ Daz and other mystery "unraters": A Moderator doesn't have permissions to hack your account as it were and give ratings via it. It would be a lot of hassle so why wouldn't we simply go and edit the threads rating through CP? Joking, we cannot do it and there isn't even an option to. Simply bugs.
Same issue here.. one cool dude rated the Updates Compatibilty Center 1/5.. And that's it.. no one can vote for the thread now.. It happens to me always..it says you voted earlier where as I never did.
@ Brandrune I wouldn't call it a hack, but it depends on the setup you guys have got going on there. I have been a moderator/admin to a few sites before now and I know a handful of them allowed direct user account access to deal with specific things, one setting for example might be removing a users privileges to edit or delete posts once made. Not that I'm accusing anyone at MDL of account tampering, but this type of bug should be fixed if possible to stop confusion.
confirm this works real great tried it on dutch win 7 ultimate wich had to activate today (already had a black screen ) removeWAT reboot perfect Nice job mister Hazar
Maybe someone can check the database field responsible for tracking which user creates an Star Rating. I assume on click that the star rating button starts an SQL transaction that is malfunctioning. If that's not the issue, maybe the problem is in how the data is being read back into the HTML during display. Just a guess, never seen how the SQL/PHP here is coded.
Dudes, it's getting better and better in here... If you all go on like this, you'll be getting a true nightmare for the Microsofties...
Daz, that is how it is on my PC every time I go into a thread...it says I have already rated it even though I have not... It is obviously a bug in the bulletin board software...
1) the uninstall (restore wat) does not restore the desktop watermark. 2) it does not work with my hebrew pro x64 machine, do you plan to fix the unicode problems? it works very well for me. also tried it with windows 7 ultimate that exceed its limit (0 days, must activate now) and it works! no nags after restart at the welcome screen.. I will test it with home basic and enterprise edition next week.
