[OUTDATED / UNSUPPORTED] RemoveWAT

    have you thought about trustedinstaller?

    do you know how sfc /scannow repairs the os?

    its redirects everything through the trustedinstaller account

    think about it the core of the M$ update system can turn on services if it needs too. it can look into the 100mb partition if it needs too (detect extra files i.e. a loader).

    it will put everything back the way it needs to be all M$ needs to do is update the trustedinstaller.exe

    You don't use SLMGR.vbs, you retrieve it from System Info like this.

    Well, I Just removed RemoveWAT 1.7 and installed RemoveWAT 1.8 on my W7 Enterprise and it worked.
    After removing RemoveWAT 1.7 I could enter a key (wich I do not have yet :rolleyes:) so I installed RemoveWAT 1.8 until I can try RemoveWAT 1.9.

    RemoveWAT 1.9 was released with a brand new approach that passes WGA and can install all updates!

    My question:

    Shud 1 wait 4 all 3 rearms 2 finish b4 applying RemoveWAT? Add 2 that if sum rearms remain and RemoveWAT is installed and then subsequently installed / disabled, will those rearms still remain ?

    What shud b da best strategy ?

    It does not matter. Patch can be applied at ANY point, before/after trial expires. It has no effect on rearms.

    Big Thanx for your work!I have one guestion.When I go with time forward there is invalid licence message in MGADiag,so the update will be avalible or no?

    There is not that problem in latest one I don't think, I tested on an expired system and it went from Invalid license to genuine

    Make sure you use 1.9

    Hi Hazar, thanks for your work :) I still have a question, I've just removed the wat on a 7600 build using the 1.9 version of your program, and I get a watermark saying "this copy of windows is not authentic". Do I have to care about it ?

    Ok I've just restored WAT and removed it again. No message anymore for the moment, but it took a little while to appear the first time so I will keep an eye on it.

    open system properties (start men -> right click computer -> properties) and see if it appears on your desktop

    It doesnt, but I dit it the first time, and it did not appeared at this moment, it just appeared randomly while doing nothing. Anyway it works for now, I'll tell you if I see any change.

    Ah yes it does appear sometimes. To fix this download a watermark patch from deepxw.blogspot.com ;)

    And as for MGAdiag, it will say TAMPERED BINARY but updates and stuff will still work

    i am use 1.9 version,but maybe is my fault,because before removewat I am try DAZ loader and maybe some files is not restored corect :eek:
