I've installed 2.0 about 2 days ago. Nags (on notepad ad image viewer) started this morning.
I'm trying to figure out if a reboot would be enough to get through it.

How long have you been using V2.0 so far?

EDIT - There's no harm in doing a restart, so give a restart a go!

Well, yes (so far), but even if I'm considering that Hazar is doing a great job the first post says "no nags, no prompts, nothing. WAT gone."
And sometimes you simply can't reboot.
I just suppose that a little more effort is needed.
BTW I'm on a heavy modded system (vLite & few services) maybe the problem is there.

i think it's a very hard work to disable 100% the windows activation and by modifying the OS, u'll have random problems.

Yes, I agree maybe with the modifications, you changed some files which RemoveWAT wanted to patch or something for the nags, which ended up bringing the errors. And I didn't say you should restart on a continuous basis, only this once to test it. Sorry about that confusion.

Anyways, a bud of mine has been running V1 non stop, without nags and Windows Updates works flawlessly too. Strange indeed.

Run the below script in an admin command prompt or make a bat file, then right click and select run as administrator.
    Code:
    sfc /scanfile=c:\windows\System32\systemcpl.dll

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

    +1 Michel

Anyways, been on v2.0 with a fresh install since the day it's been released, everything working great, no glitches so far at all.

I'm on a untouched Win 7 Pro x64 system at the moment.

So far, on a Home premium 32bit setup, also working well, no problems.

Looking great so far, well done hazar!

    And your point is?

You released a 7 activator which was nononsence's open source one with a new background. Same text, same namespace, same checkboxes, just moved around to a new background with a stupidly elongated form.

Installed W7 64-bit 4 days ago with RemoveWAT 2.0 everything worked fine, untill today when "This copy of Windows is not genuine" appeared again on Desktop, but this time it wont go away when Windows Update is run and installed few updates.

Still cannot run run System Performance Rate which finished with error:

Cannot complete assessment blah blah but after that genuine text is removed from desktop.

Are you running a modified Win 7 or are you running one of the untouched ISO's?

Damn, seems odd. So the nags only started coming back as of recently. Wonder if Windows Malicious Software removal tool might have anything to do with this? Don't think so though!

Have you tried running removewat again?
